We enjoyed the first safari so much we went and booked another for the other side of the island.

Green and lush - What a fantastic way to spend a day on Madeira. Our driver was such a professional; it was a huge relief to have someone else take on the stress of navigating these crazy roads! I’d read that lunch wasn’t provided which meant I brought a packed lunch with me - kind of awkward then when we had a 90 minute stop in the very small town of Santana for lunch, and not a whole lot else to do! Oops. I would recommend taking the little 3km easy hike to the viewpoint too instead of heading to the bar for poncha - I’m glad I did that, as it meant I was able to see a really hidden away and very special viewpoint.

Good day trip. Lots to see! Shame rum distillery was closed… - Had a really good trip. The driver/guide was excellent. Did some off roading, which was fun.
Unfortunately one reason we chose this tour was to experience the rum distillery … but it was closed, so pretty disappointed, but rest of trip was excellent, thank you!

Mud tour - This safari is not for people with disabilities. The driver was very young, this reflected his view of how he treated the guests. We are small people , to get into the jeep already acrobatic arts are required. Other vendors had benches with them!!!!
The journey was partly, on the road (not visible) irresponsible. He drove very well off-road. Mango with the vehicles is that you can't hold on to speed rides, and you get rocked back and forth.
Whoever books should first look at the vehicles and then decide.
The description from the provider had been easy hike, true even until it descended steeply mountain where the vehicle has been waiting. Everything was done with time announcement, there was no way to enjoy nature.!!!!!! You should definitely wear sturdy footwear on this tour you run through mud and mud accordingly the shoes looked and the pants.
