Great tour of Fukuoka and the historical sites - Chako was very informative about the sites we visited. She met us at the hotel promptly and took us to the sites via the rail system. The rail network is very punctual and was within walking distance from the stations. Chako guided us through the rail stations from site to site with ease. She had a folder with pictures, maps and information about the different sites. We highly recommend her to everyone.

Fabulous Fukuoka - Mr Masaaki Chiwata made our trip to Fukuoka so special. He was flexible, planning our itinerary based on the sites we wanted to see and Viator gave us a choice of visiting. We chose Nanzoin Temple, Tochoji Temple and Ohori Park to visit. Getting from the cruise port to each place, would have been difficult on our own to figure out so it was nice to have him as we utilized a taxi, train and subway to visit each site. And then between he gave us history and background information about each place we were going as well as the city and had maps to help give us a visual as well. If you're looking for a guide who is patient, kind, and genuinely cares about your experience, book this tour and ask for Mr Masa!

Fukuoka and surroundings very individual - I had a wonderful day with Oda. The visit of Dazaifu was a very nice and interesting experience. I was particularly impressed by the Kyushu National Museum. I particularly liked the subsequent visit to Kamado-jinja Shrine with its very nicely maintained grounds and the great view – definitely worth a visit. Afterwards we went back to Fukuoka, where Oda showed me her favorite places to eat, and we ate very delicious ramen in a restaurant in Fukuoka City. The trip was really worth it and brought great joy.

Awesome Full Day Tour! - Hiro was excellent! He was very informative and accommodating. We went to several shrines and temples, top of Fukuoka Tower, and Fukuoka City Museum. We even ate some delicious pork ramen and squeezed in some time to go shopping. Thank you Hiro for a wonderful first time in Japan tour!

Excellent Fukuoka tour - Miyoko was the most diligent guide that we have worked with during our visit to Japan. She was in touch with us very early to understand our preferences and was flexible in her approach. We preferred cultural sites rather than markets and she made excellent use of our brief time in town since we were visiting on a cruise ship. Highly recommended.

Organizational issues - Our guide, Peko, is a very nice lady, and we enjoyed our one-hour canal tour in Yanagawa; but there were a number of organizational issues that led me to have to give a lower rating for this six-hour tour. Originally we were supposed to hit a couple of major tourist spots, then that had to be reduced to one major spot, then there were stress issues about train times, etc.
