• Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine - The first destination is Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine, followed by Tsukimawari Park, where you will stroll along a mystical forest pilgrimage path lit by nearly 100 lanterns. The ambiance is cinematic and otherworldly as you delve deeper into the forest. During cherry blossom season (late March to early April), the area becomes even more picturesque with around 100 blooming cherry trees enhancing the landscape. Please be aware that seasonal conditions such as weather or blossom timing may affect visibility, and some areas may be adjusted for safety or operational reasons. The time includes travel time.
• Amanoiwato Shrine - Proceed to Amano Iwato Shrine, a sacred site with deep ties to Japanese mythology, followed by Amano Yasukawara, a spiritual cave area where visitors traditionally stack stones and make wishes for good fortune. Surrounded by natural rock formations and forest scenery, this area offers a tranquil and meaningful cultural experience. • Takachiho Gorge - Arrive at Takachiho Gorge, one of Japan’s most iconic natural attractions, and enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Guests may optionally experience the Takachiho Gorge boat ride (subject to availability, weather, and river conditions). This comfortable drive allows you to unwind after a day of walking and exploration while enjoying the natural beauty of the region from a different perspective.
