Great family tour of the Mt. Fuji area - We had a wonderful private tour with Yuki! Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 middle school boys) all enjoyed getting off the beaten path and seeing the quiet and beautiful spots around Mt. Fuji. Yuki's communication before the tour was superb. We were originally booked to do a hiking tour with Yuki, unfortunately we had a morning forecast of heavy rain. He pivoted and offered us his driving tour in anticipation of the weather. From pick up in his comfortable car, excellent English explanations of the areas and legends and a great local lunch, we all had a great time. If you are on the fence you will not regret booking a tour with Yuki!

A Fantastic Day in Fuji Five Lakes - I cannot recommend this driving tour enough! I was traveling in a group of five and it ended up being our favorite day out of two weeks in Japan. Yuki drove us to spots all around Fuji Five Lakes that we never would have been able to reach using public transportation and that we never even realized we should go to. He told us about many of the legends, history, and traditions of the various shrines and sights we visited. It was also very interesting getting to know Yuki throughout the day and learning about all of his travels around the world. It was also very easy to communicate with Yuki after booking. We had a specific restaurant we wanted to go to for lunch and he incorporated it into our plan for the day. We had planned to end the tour at the station where my group had stored our luggage but Yuki was generous enough to take us back to our hotel afterwards even though it was past the end of our tour time. After days of walking in the summer heat, this tour was a fantastic way to experience Fuji Five lakes while sparing our sore feet. This was my first time using Viator for anything and I’m so glad I decided to. If you’re considering booking this tour, do it! It was the highlight of our trip and an unforgettable experience we’ll always remember.

Amazing Tour Around Mt. Fuji/Fujiyoshida! - Absolutely incredible experience – highly recommend! If you're heading to the Mt. Fuji/Fujiyoshida area and want to truly experience the best of it, do yourself a favour and book a private tour with Yuki. From start to finish, this was one of the most seamless, enjoyable, and memorable days of our Japan trip. Yuki picked us up right from our hotel and took us on an amazing one-day tour tailored exactly to what we wanted – though honestly, we mostly let him choose the stops, and wow did he deliver. He knows all the hidden gems in the area that you wouldn't find on your own, while still happily including any specific spots you want to visit. He brought us to all the best locations to view and photograph Mt. Fuji – even though she was hiding behind the clouds that day, every place was still absolutely breathtaking. The surrounding nature, shrines, and viewpoints were stunning. One of the highlights was the lunch spot he took us to – hands down the best udon we had during our whole trip. Local, authentic, and delicious! Yuki speaks excellent English and is just a joy to spend time with. We spent the day chatting and learning so much about Japanese culture, history, and daily life. He’s not just a driver – he’s a thoughtful, engaging guide and host who genuinely wants you to have the best experience possible. Transportation around Fujiyoshida can be tricky and time-consuming, so if you want to maximize your time, avoid stress, and see the absolute best this area has to offer, Yuki’s tour is the way to go. Incredible Tour- Yuki is the Best! - My family and I had an awesome time on our tour with Yuki. He truly knows all the best, most hidden spots to experience Fuji from. Even in peak of Tourist Season, he lead us to spots with no people and the best views. He was super knowledgeable and taught us so much about Fuji and Japan.

- What an amazing trip! I was going to rent a car in hakone and drive to Mt Fuji but found this tour with Yuki instead. He is so friendly, energetic, and engaging. My family enjoyed talking with Yuki as much as the sightseeing! Yuki drove out of his way to pick us up and also drove us to sightsee in the Aokighari Jukai Forest which we really wanted to do. 100% awesome tour and I totally recommend! Loved it! Jeff

Mt Fuji 2025 - The day was well spent with Yuki. We explored areas of Mount Fuji, not frequented by many. Lunch was quintessential Japanese. The views were amazing and Yuki’s knowledge was very insightful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Mt Fuji tour with Yuki, highly recommend - Yuki is our private guide. He speaks very good English, calm and very courteous. Even though it was overcast and we couldn’t see Mt Fuji, we still had a very fantastic tour of other sites, thanks to Yuki! The lava caves, a beautiful Japanese garden, 2 shrines , and the lakes were just as gorgeous. We had lunch at an udon restaurant, the best udon since we arrived in Japan 6 days ago. I highly recommend Yuki ! He is the best !

Great experience - Yuki was funny and very nice guide. He showed us around Mt. Fuji and some of the famous areas around it with thoughtful explanations of origins and historical importance of shrines and other places we visited. What's especially great is that he has many different choices depending on the weather, situation, and customer preferences. Therefore, you can see the splendor of various Kawaguchiko according to your preferences. Also, Yuki was the perfect guide for my visit to Mt. Fuji as a foreigner because of his ability to speak English fluently. It was extremely helpful in a country where I’ve had to get around with using google translate for the most part.
