• Aokigahara Forest - Jukai - “The Sea of Trees”. The forest is called the sea of trees because it resembles the sea when viewed from a vantage point. One of Mt. Fuji’s largest eruptions occurred about 1200 years ago, creating this place! Experience the dynamic beauty of nature around Mt. Fuji!

• Ryugudoketsu-iriguchi - There is a sacred cave where people used to pray to the goddess of Mt. Fuji before climbing the mountain. They believed the cave’s interior was the goddess’s womb, hence the name “Goddess Womb Cave.”

• Sankodai - It’s about an hour’s hike one way to the viewpoint, where you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji, the “Sea of Trees” Jukai, and Lake Saiko simultaneously! The trail is suitable for outdoor beginners.

• Menkyo-kaiden - Enjoy the area’s signature food at a local restaurant with your guide! The guide will take you to the best places that tourists might not find on their own. (The cost is about 1000 yen per person, so please bring some cash.)

• Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen - One of the oldest hotels in Fujiyoshida City, it features a large Japanese garden open to the public! Enjoy matcha with a Japanese sweet (optional 1000 yen per person) or simply relax in the beautiful garden.
