Nice doing a private tour - with such flexibility! - We spent a full 8-hour day touring Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos with Marta, and it was such a wonderful experience. Even though the weather was rainy, it didn’t slow us down at all—we actually lucked out, because every time the heavy rain came, we happened to be in the car!
Marta was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and context throughout the day. She was also very kind, easy to talk to, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Thank you, Marta, for a fantastic day of exploring! We’re so glad we got to experience these amazing places with you.

2 great spots to vidit - My friend and I wanted to visit some very specific towns in Portugal. We booked a private tour to Aviero and Obidos. Our driver/guide was Joao Fernandes who was fabulous. He gave us all kinds of information along the drive. Once we were in Aviero he treated us to a local delicacy Ovo mole. Since it was raining we didn't want to walk around too much nor take the gondola ride. Joao made lunch reservations at a local spot where we had a lively teadional lunch. Then we drove to Obidos which is a wonderful walled city. In our opinion this is a must see. You can see what a real walled city was like in pre-medieval times. He told some stories about the city which were so interesting. I won't share them here. You'll have to there yourself to hear them

Outstanding Tour and Guide - Our tour with Joao Fernandes was an absolute delight. He is pleasant, well-mannered, and genuinely attentive to what his guests hope to experience. After listening to what we wanted to see and do, he tailored the day beautifully. He shared so many fascinating insights that were completely new to both of us, and his enthusiasm made every stop more enjoyable. Even with the rain coming down, we had a wonderful time. I would happily recommend this tour to anyone. It was fantastic from start to finish.

My last day in Portugal was the BEST with Gabriela as my guide!!! - 10/31/2025. My tour consisted of three locations, Fatima, Batalha and Obidos. Gabriela was my guide.
The locations were all impressive to visit, but Gabriela really made them come to life!
Her explanations between history, religion, culture and including myth versus fact really made me appreciate how these locations play a big part of Portugal.
As a tour guide she was organized, punctual, open to questions and very engaging. I very much appreciate that she took her time with the tour because I love to learn about history. She made sure my mother was comfortable and happy with the pace of the tour as well.
Overall this is a great tour for value, since its private it caters to your own timetable and desires of what to visit making it very flexible. I have no regrets choosing this company and very impressed with the guide.

The communication with... - The communication with tour company great. Gabby our tour guide was exceptional and did a great job giving us history of area. Fátima and Nazare beautiful. We had amazing lunch in Nazare. Unfortunately we had flat tire and did not get to tour Obidos. The tour company arranged transportation at their expense back to our hotel. Tour company made sure we got back safely and gave adjustment to tour cost.

Great day! - Marta was great! She is very professional. It was so nice to spend the day with her. She is very Knowledgeable about so many aspects of Portugal. I highly recommend this tour to the 3 cities. We had a wonderful experience.

Private Tour of Obidos, Nazare, and Fatima with Gabriella was Outstanding! - We had an excellent day with our guide Gabriella. She met us right on time at 8:30 am in a Mercedes AMG and headed to Fatima as our first stop. Along the way, we found Gabriella was incredibly well educated on a very wide range of subjects and also had a great sense of humor. It was such a pleasure to spend 9 hours with her.
Gabriella provided an insightful history of Fatima and how it grew into one of the world’s most spiritual places. She provided us with an appropriate amount of free time for visiting the basilica and lighting a candle for prayer. We then went onto Nazaré and found our visit coincided with a special festival day. Many streets were closed and parking was scarce, but Gabriella expertly drove us through a number of detours to get close to the festival area. Again, Gabriella was a great guide in our walk through this beautiful town. Our final stop was Óbidos. Again, Gabriella’s detailed knowledge of the history of this village was impressive. Along the way to our three stops, Gabriella provided a number of relevant stories about the history of Portugal and Lisbon. We were so incredibly impressed with her background, humor, and detailed knowledge of the tour sights. It was a day that we will long remember. Obviously, this tour and Gabriella are highly recommended to all readers.

Wow, who knew we could... - Wow, who knew we could pack so much into one day! Martim was the perfect guide — super friendly, easy to talk to, and full of great info. We had a group with a wide range of ages, and he did an amazing job making sure everyone was engaged and having a good time.
We learned a ton — not just history, but the kind of stories that really bring each stop to life. There were also a few unexpected adventures that made the day even more fun. Martim was super flexible, happy to adjust the tour based on what caught our interest, and always patient when we wanted to linger or explore.
It was such a memorable day — we couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Great adventure in Portugal - Gabriela our tour guide was amazing! She gave us a ton of information about Portugal and the places we visited in the car prior to getting to Fátima. We enjoyed our time there and headed to Nazare where we discovered the power had gone out in all of Portugal. We saw the coast and huge waves. Gabriela was resourceful and found us a place where we could dine and continued through the rest of the day to Obidos. We asked her questions about each area and she gave us thorough answers to all. She took wonderful care of us. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
