Prepare to be captivated by one of the world’s pre-eminent Catholic sanctuaries! However, there is so much more to unravel in the country’s heartland. Explore some of Portugal’s stunning beaches in Nazaré, a quaint fishing hamlet recognized for the tallest wave ever surfed. Walk the grounds of the battlefield of Batalha, the site of a major historical Portuguese conflict. The final stop will let you savor cherry liquor from a chocolate cup in the ancient town of Óbidos.
- English, Spanish and Portuguese are available all year round. French, Italian, Russian and Romanian ON REQUEST ONLY (subject to availability).
- It is a good idea to wear sneakers or other appropriate walking shoes and bring a water bottle. In summer bring your sunscreen and in winter it gets very cold so bring a jacket.
- Please note that babies and children occupy a seat.
- Please note that you may have to walk a short distance from your accommodation to be picked up.
- In case of adverse weather conditions (eg heavy rain), the tour will not be canceled unless there are warnings and warnings by official bodies.
- Children’s seats are available on request if advised at time of booking.
- Please contact the company at least 24 hours prior to the activity for the exact boarding time and time (usually between 08:00 and 08:45 hours).
- Pick-up at your hotel (or closest location possible) only in certain areas of the city (downtown). It may be necessary to reach a standard boarding point (ie in the areas of Mercado da Ribeira or Saldanha). The Parque das Nações area is not available to be removed.
- We are not responsible for any traffic congestion in the city, resulting from cultural, sporting and religious events, or even demonstrations / strikes, etc. However, we will always offer alternatives to avoid such situations; One is to change the collection and delivery locations. Unfortunately, this can be transmitted without notice.

Exceptional Day with Bruno – Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Truly Outstanding Guide - Bruno was an absolutely fantastic driver and guide on our Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré, and Óbidos private tour. This was our second tour with him, having already explored Sintra and Cascais the day before, and once again he exceeded our expectations. Bruno captivated us with his deep knowledge of the history and culture of every town we visited, making our journey so much more meaningful and memorable.
He was extremely patient, always available to answer our questions, and offered countless helpful tips to enhance our experience at each stop. What really impressed us was Bruno’s willingness to go above and beyond—in addition to the scheduled itinerary, he even took the time to show us key sights around Lisbon, such as the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade.
Bruno’s driving was safe and comfortable, and his engaging commentary kept us interested throughout the day. He never rushed us, making sure we had just the right amount of time in each place and always adapting to our interests. Bruno’s passion for Portugal and his warm, personable manner turned our tour into an unforgettable adventure.

Great tour! Learned a lot of Portugal - We had a great time visiting Fatima, Batalha, Nazaré & Óbidos! Bruno is an amazing guide and explained with great detail the story of each place. We don’t have enough words to express the great time!!!

Great day trip from Lisbon - Lisbon is great, but it’s nice to get outside of it to see small towns and walled cities. Our tour guide Bruno was phenomenal!

Great - Nuno was a great tour guide. He was very informative about the historic details of the places we were visiting. He adjusted time periods to stay at certain places when we requested. The day was quite enjoyable and I would highly recommend this tour and especially Nuno to be their tour guide.

Highly recommend this private tour - Bruno was excellent from start to finish. He made the trip an adventure with his vast knowledge of Portuguese history. The perspective of a local private tour is the best way to explore this beautiful country. The flexibility and options were limitless with no time restrictions like there are with larger tours. This is a must do, especially with Bruno, if you're lucky to book him. I would definitely recommend this tour, and again, Bruno.

Carlos was amazing! - We used this tour company because a friend had used them and found them very reputable and easy to use. Our guide picked us up at the hotel on time. The car was clean and comfortable. Carlos was very knowledgeable about the places he took us to and a great driver. He allowed us time to visit on our own as well as providing information about the sites visited. We would never have found the places Carlos took us to on our own. We would have missed out on so much, if we had rented a car and tried to see things on our own. Thank you Carlos for making our trip to Lisbon so memorable!!! Obtigado!!!
