Constructed following Our Lady’s request, “I want you to make here a chapel.” Our Lady appeared in radiant light and spoke to the Little Shepherds here in May, June, July, September, and October of 1917. - Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima - Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima
On May 13, 1917, the three Little Shepherds were playing at the top of Cova de Iria’s hillside when they “suddenly saw what seemed to be a flash of lightning.” The Basilica was later constructed between 1928 and 1953.
Inside the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, you can visit the tombs of the three Little Shepherds and have the opportunity to approach them closely.

Basilica of the Holy Trinity - Basilica of the Holy Trinity
In 1973, plans emerged to build a new church in the Sanctuary of Fatima. The first stone was laid in 2004, and it was inaugurated on October 12, 2007, marking the 90th anniversary of the Apparitions. The entire church is white, covered with regional stone: Branco do Mar (White from the Sea). The Basilica accommodates 8,633 seats, including 76 for individuals with limited mobility. Its construction was entirely funded by pilgrim donations.
Attend the 11 o’clock mass. Depending on the day and season, the mass may be held in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima or in the Sanctuary square.

Valinhos Sanctuary - Valinhos
The fourth apparition occurred here on August 19, 1917. Our Lady met the three Little Shepherds again after they missed the meeting on the 13th due to being taken to Ourém for questioning, preventing them from reaching Cova de Iria. -
Loca do Anjo - Loca do Anjo
In the Spring and Autumn of 1916, the three Little Shepherds were surprised by the Angel of Peace’s presence here.
When he approached them, he said: - Don’t be afraid! I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.
- Casa De Lucia - Still in Aljustrel, the village where the three seers were born and lived, and from where they led their flock to Cova de Iria, you will visit Sister Lucia’s house.
After being closed for eight months, Sister Lucia’s House reopened to the public in July 2024 with a House-Museum concept. The renovation includes new features, such as the return of books to the house and the wall clock marking the time of Lucia de Jesus’s birth: seven o’clock in the evening!

Poco do Arneiro - The Arneiro Well
The Little Shepherds often sat here, talking, playing, and praying. On a summer day in 1916, the second Apparition of the Angel of Peace occurred here.
When he found them, he asked, “What are you doing? Pray, pray a lot.” - Casa De Francisco & Jacinta Marto - Visit the house of Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta, open to pilgrims and unchanged since the Apparitions.
