• Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima - Embark on this wonderful tour from Lisbon, and in just about an hour’s drive, arrive at the Sanctuary of Fatima. The Chapel of the Apparitions, the first chapel constructed immediately after the apparitions, holds a central position in the Sanctuary, not due to its size or grandeur, but because of its location.

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, constructed in 1928 in the Neo-Baroque style, is the resting place of the children and Sister Lucia, who passed away in 2005. The Basilica of Santissima Trindade, built in 2007, boasts over 8,000 seats and covers 40,000 m². Designed by Greek architect Alexandros Tombazis, it is a modern and impressive church.

• Batalha Monastery - The warm-toned bare stone of the Monastery of Batalha stands as a significant landmark in Portugal’s history, marking a period of independence from Castile (Spain).

This late-Gothic structure is the result of the expertise of the greatest Portuguese and international masters, from its founder Master Afonso Domingues to the brilliant Huguet, culminating in Mateus Fernandes’s “Manueline style.” The Founder’s Chapel and the “Imperfect Chapels” serve as the pantheon for kings and princes, influenced by the scholasticism of the Dominican friars representing the Celestial City.

• Nazaret - Artesanato e design de Autor - Nazare is a picturesque village with a rich history, beautifully reflected in its architectural heritage, featuring numerous churches and traditional houses that create a charming atmosphere, being the first place of worship in Portugal.

In recent years, the phenomenon of the Nazaré Cannon, with its extraordinary waves, has brought Nazaré international fame. In 2013, American surfer McNamara set a world record by surfing a wave approximately 30 meters high. Another intriguing aspect is the “seven skirts” tradition of the women of Nazare, proudly displayed to visitors.

Obidos was given as a wedding gift from King D. Dinis to his wife, Queen D. Isabel, and became part of the Casa das Rainhas, which lasted until 1834. Many Portuguese queens passed through, leaving significant contributions. Queen D. Catarina commissioned the construction of the aqueduct and fountains.
