We were completely surprised at how many varieties of peaches , plums, etc that we got to taste! Wow! The fruit tasting very well organized. We also love to have had the opportunity to visit the orchard. The fruit picking feel a bit rushed, but understood that there are lots of people who wants to visit as well. Thanks for a great experience!
Our tour was very informative and we loved tasting so many varieties. I wish we could visit more often. Thank you.
I was very impressed with the variety of fruits. All the fruits were delicious! Our guide was great! The entire experience was very memorable for my family. Very well organized.
Very well organized and planned event. Many volunteers out at the orchard to help make your experience optimal. The fruit tasting was fantastic! We sampled a wide range of the stone fruits that Andy grows. It was helpful that descriptions labels were adjacent to the fruit sampled. For the tours you bring your free water bottle and a provided bucket to gather the fruit. The host guides were remarkable and personable. They knew all about Andy's fruits and orchards. We got to pick some ripe fruit in the orchards we toured. The pickers had left the low hanging fruit for us to pick. Afterwards we paid for our fruit and visited his store on the premises for more delightful fresh, dried and candied fruits available for purchasing. It is a great family event.
I loved the number of different samples available to taste. And walking through the orchards and picking the magnificent fruit was a real treat.
My husband and I enjoyed everything! Our tour guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about the history of Andy's Orchard, and the property. The fruit was amazing! We look forward to coming back next month with family.
It would have been 5 STAR if Andy or someone else would have talked about the family history of the farm. I wanted to know how a place like your even came to be!
I've never seen so many varieties. Can't wait to come back for apricot season.
I learned new facts about fruit and Andy's Orchard! The docent gave us good tips about the crops. I enjoyed the day in the country.
Fun day! Good fruit. Even the guests were good!
Such a walk back to the valley of the heart's delight. Wonderful varieties that you can't find anywhere else. Great tour guides and a fine learning experience for the kids. Andy's is a treasure. Thanks! Susan Blake, Campbell, CA
We enjoyed it so much. This tour and tasting is in our must do list every summer.
An amazing selection of varieties to taste and educate my palate. Touring the prchatds with Andy was a real treat. He is a wealth of information!!
The amount of fruit for tasting was abundant and delicious; spread out over a large area to accommodate everyone. The tour and picking was informative and fun. This was our first time since we moved to Morgan Hill, and since we live close to you, we wanted to learn more about your farm and we were pleasantly surprised and will continue to visit you.
Had a great experience and learned a bit about the farming of the orchard. I will definitely do it next year.
The most awesome place for heirloom stone fruits. We are savoring the fresh, ripe, juicy peaches, nectarines & plums!
The tour guide offered little info and moved through the orchard very slowly. We left after only walking through one side.
Loved everything- the fruit, the tour, the orchard and all of the jam I've made with the fruit I bought!
The Tasting was a visual, olfactory, and taste-bud sensational delight. The rows of tasting displays in the shed were beautiful. They were spread apart spaciously enough for the crowd to move about and criss cross. The nearly 100 varieties were beyond impressive. The tour and picking were fun and informative. The experience was far beyond my expectations. I appreciated the legacy since 1931 that the family has steadfastly maintained for decades and generations. My appreciation of agriculture was heightened. People like Andy who commit to growing food should be held in the highest esteem. The experience made me think that when I shop for, consume, and throw away food, need to consider the sacrifice and dedication that people, real honest hard-working people, put into the dependable creation of food. And Andy's food is like gold-beautiful, exquisitely delicious, and rare in highest quality among stone fruits. For 90 years, Andy and his family have been responsible for the sustenance and delight of millions of people. In addition, he is a local employer, providing the best livelihood he can for many individuals.
A great opportunity to try many varieties of stone fruit!
First off, we had an extremely awesome time at the orchard, thanks for opening up such a unique experience to the public. We were thoroughly impressed with the way the tasting was set up, making it an easy way to taste through all (as many as one could) the varietals. Definitely need a pen/paper(phone) to take notes on what one likes the most during the tasting. My feedback regarding the tasting is that there should be an indication on the varietal name to say it can be picked in the orchard. One of the slight disappointments was that some of the ones we liked, weren't in the orchard. This also be me a downfall of the docent for not guiding us through the orchards in an organized fashion. He didn't really know where things were in the orchard. With that said, it was beautiful, the experience was great, and I can't wait to come back!
