It was a great night, the crew was nice and friendly! Our students really enjoyed the ride!
Nice, relaxing and kid friendly.
It was nice and comfortable
Staff was helpful with my disabled husband in a very kind and in a non condescending way. They were both energetic and knowledgeable. I’ve been on cruise before but this time learned a lot about Toledo and the Maumee River did not realize. Fun, interesting and scenic!
Staff was amazing. Very welcoming and fun.
Our first time. Very enjoyable. Thanks for the treat.
Cruise was very relaxing and a great way to spend time with friends. Thank you.
The staff was courteous and polite.
This river ride was very interesting and enjoyable in spite of the rain. To view the grain ;elevators as well as the industrial sites was new to me as I am from Montana and Arizona. Our production facilities are entirely different than the large final export facilities and was fun to see. Crew was professional and the thing started exactly on time and that is different from many venues one might attend. For what its worth, it is easy to recommend this cruise.
It was super relaxing considering we had a group of 9.. 5 of whom were kids. It was an informative and entertaining experience.
Lovely, gentle cruise along the Maumee River that provides a view not seen by many (unless you own a boat!). It was great that we could bring our own food, but be prepared to eat with your food in your lap - a full boat means that you have no room to set anything next to you on the bench. The sides of the boat are open to the sun, so sunglasses, hat, and even sunscreen are a good idea. I'll do another Sandpiper Boat trip in the future!
First mate is our granddaughter, have never been on the river and enjoy history about nautical life...looki,g for new ways to improve our tours,Mystic Belle,Vermilion river. Cruises.. Will recommend your tours on our trips as another outting to customers
Great crew, very knowledgeable. Relaxed atmosphere. I have lived my entire life in Toledo and can’t believe that was my first time on the Sandpiper! Have raved about it to family and friends and plan on taking another one with family in the near future!
What a perfect evening! Would not have had the Sandpiper crew do one thing differently. I wanted to high five all the dudes there with their dates -- excellent choice for an easy evening out. My family and I enjoyed bringing our own food and beverages and being together on the beautiful Maumee.
The cruise was pleasant and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. One of the girls had very short shorts that showed a bit too much when she climb on the rail to secure the boat when docking. Over all a good experience.
Comfortable evening with great and friendly staff - I highly recommend this lovely cruise. Peaceful, informative and very relaxing. Looking forward to sharing when family when they visit.
My family had a very pleasant evening and the crew was very pleasant. We'll definitely be taking this cruise (or one of the others) again.
boat was in ship shape and the crew-Jodie and the captain were very pleasant
Fun couple of hours!
The weather was very nice during our ride. The seating is bench style and somewhat uncomfortable for a 2 hour ride.
It was a well organized trip, from booking through trip itself.
Thanks for being so good to our grandsons. The river cruise was the highlight of their visit to Toledo. We certainly recommend the river cruise to all ages of local residents or visitors. You learn a lot and it gives you a different and beautiful scenic perspective of Toledo.
First I received an email telling me that I had not completed my purchase which was great because I thought I had it all taken care of. Then at the last minute I had to cancel one of the reservations because of a work situation and it was done with absolutely no problems. The right itself was very enjoyable and would go again
I wish I could have actually enjoyed the cruise, but this was not the case. After our child ran off the boat screaming with horror because he thought there were sharks in the Maumee river you guys did a fantastic job of calming him down and got him to stop crying. Since he was still too big of a whimp to go on the cruise you sent me a full refund. I will be sure to schedule another cruise with you guys and find a babysitter for the 7 year old baby. Thank you again for all your help.
Especially liked the choice in music! Staff was friendly, boat was clean and views of the river at dusk were very beautiful. It was fantastic mental therapy at the end of a long work week. Thank you for the great service that you provide for our city! Mark Wagner
I enjoy the cruise very much. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you
Great trip, great tour guide, great Captain! We will do it again!
Jodie and paul are amazing. My Brother and his wife were here from Arizona I wanted to do something fun. It also my husband and myself first time on the cruise. it was a awesome cruise and Jodie told us things about the Maumee we didn,t even know and we live here. we made a wonderful memory Friday night. so thank you for a fun filled evening, and the memories. LINDA & JOHN LEICHTY
Capt and crew member for Friday were awesome and extremely knowledgeable of maumee river and area made the boat ride quite worth it. Would go again because of them. They deserve a lot of praise.
Boat crew was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the narration during the trip. Nice to be able to bring food and drink aboard. One suggestion-cushions for benches. Two hours on a hard metal bench created problems for me. By the end of the trip I was extremely uncomfortable.
