Wonderful beautiful island and... - Beautiful island, every beach worth seeing, you can also snorkel a little. With rental bike we could also enjoy and discover everything. However, it is always uphill and downhill, the wind blows very strongly and you should be used to riding your bike a bit. 1 complete lap to the West End and back are 31 km and 300 meters in altitude. You can also bring your own bikes.

Great trip on Rottnest Island, maybe better with e*Bike - Better book an e*bike. It was very hot that day and Rottnest Island is bigger than you think. Driving 30 km on slopes was very exhausting for me.
Don't forget your swimsuits. Very nice was the Little Parakeet Beach!

It was such a joy... - It was such a joy exploring the island by bicycle. We saw so many beautiful and exotic birds and not to mention the friendliest animal on earth, the quokka! We loved every minute on Rottnest!

The Ultimate Day Trip⭐️ - Had an amazing day on Rottnest Island thanks to SeaLink’s Bike & Ferry Package 🚲🛳️. The ferry was on time and staff were super friendly. Bikes were ready to go the moment we arrived, such an easy way to explore at our own pace. If you have a hire car just follow the signed car park next to EShed and go to the back for long term day parking.
Tips from our day: bring only a small bag (you’ll be cycling all day), don’t miss the famous Rottnest Bakery for a snack, and if time’s short, loop back through the salt lakes instead of trying to do the whole island. We’re pretty fit so we almost managed the full circuit, the scenery is incredible.
Highly recommend SeaLink for a smooth, great-value way to experience Rottnest Island!

Gorgeous day and great service - From booking tickets online, to collecting our bike wrist tags to boarding the boat at Freo the process was seamless and efficient. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the facilities were clean, shop on board and seating spacious. The trip across to Rotto didn’t take long, the bikes were easy to use and a great way to explore rotto. Thanks Sealink my daughter and I had a fun and wonderful day at Rotto

Nice trip! - I have loved this day trip. Ferry service was on time and it was easy to pick up and return the bycicle. I would probably just recommend to put more care into the bikes. Mine definitely needed the gears tuned, and it was hard to cycle all around the island as things got stuck frequently. I would also recommend giving a little extra care in handing out helmets: the one that came with my bike was huge and I could not wear it properly. Thank you.

Warning; cycle hire with Sealink heads up. - The ferry and the staff were excellent, so was the Island and those great little Quokkas! But, and it's a big but;
The main issue was that we had the cycles supplied by Sealink (package deal), and the cycles were very poor in quality, adjustability and safety (imo).
As the cycles are on the ferry all day, every day, they were severely rusted and salt impacted. Our bikes had the following issues;
Seats would not stay at adjusted heights, they slipped down to lowest level and impeded pedaling. The seat clamp fell out half way around which also made the seat swivel side to side! The brakes were debatable. The front brake on one of our bikes made the front wheel "snap" to one side when applied (I am guessing the bearings had gone). The easiest gear would not engage, and with some of the hills (if you are cycling the whole island, it is a lot of up and down riding, requiring a good level of fitness if you want to enjoy the scenery without blowing out, it required hefty pushing on the pedals (not for everyone, as could be witnessed by a number of disgruntled people along the roadside!).
If I had not been handy with bikes, the experience would have been substandard or even possibly dangerous.
It is a shame the experience was marred (for us and a number of others we saw/talked with when getting back on the ferry) by such an easy thing the sort out for Sealink-a minimum and easy level of maintenance of equipment.
I would recommend booking the bikes from the on-island store, as they looked much better (lubricated and roadworthy) than ours.
This review should have been about the lovely Quokkas and the beautiful island, but these issues need to be addressed for this to happen.

The bike was not in good... - The bike was not in good condition. The seat kept sliding down, and the brakes wouldn't fully release, causing the wheels to constantly squeak. My knees are still hurting due to the low seat. Make sure to rent a bicycle from a place where you can check its condition.
