From 1998 onwards, Vincenzo, the son of Vito, grew up surrounded by the aroma of musts and the piles of grape marc at the Florio factory. His passion for wine was evident from an early age, and he is now responsible for managing the company and reviving the family brand, alongside his wife, Liliana.
The edifice was built in the early 19th century, it is a historic landmark comprising of the winery and now also houses a museum. The complex showcases organic wine and oil tastings from the Adamo farm, marking enterprise initiatives and the courage of workers from the 20th century. The wine museum also functions as a retail space selling gourmet food and wine. It is a testament to history and gastronomy, offering a glimpse into ancient winemaking practices amidst the breathtaking landscape of Sicily. The historical journey is narrated by the proprietor, Vincenzo Adamo - an agronomist who will guide you through the different processes and the unique tastes and smells native to Sicily.

Fun, informative, tasty. - Lovely day. Very interesting. Vincenzo was very passionate and informative about the farming and history. The chef was knowledgeable on all the local cuisine and dishes. All the food was very tasty. Delicious wines to try and buy. Really enjoyed our day.

Il Baglio Florio Adamo, unforgettable experience - Last May 27 I was with a group of friends at Baglio Florio Adamo. We have long wanted to meet Vincenzo and Liliana Adamo, heirs to the property and brave captains of a titanic entrepreneurial adventure. We were curious to discover this historical beam, important for the Sicilian economy of the late nineteenth century, its magnifecence, its grandeur. We wanted to admire its vineyards and impressive cellars.
Liliana Adamo welcomed us with generous availability, guiding us on a visit that, starting from the places and testimonies, (one of them, think ... inside the beam, for the loading of grapes and must, the railway line reached the warehouses!) has retraced two centuries of history: from the Florio family to the Adamo family, from the entrepreneurial initiatives of Sicily in the last thirty years of the 1800s to the agricultural activities and organic crops of Vincenzo Adamo. You should see the barrels, the warehouses, the techniques used in the late nineteenth century and those in use today. It is an educational path, enveloping and exciting. What passion, what energy in Liliana's words and Vincenzo's testimony! And then the "farmer" lunch, cooked by Liliana and her family using only products from their company, prepared with care and served with joy and dexterity, a simple lunch but rich in traditional dishes, fragrant, tasty, delicious. And then the wine... just great, to try again, to take home.
An experience that I recommend to everyone, extraordinary, unforgettable. Very good Liliana and Vincenzo. Long live Sicilian hospitality!

Slice of Sicilian Heaven – Unmissable Experience! - An absolute highlight of our trip to Sicily. Liliana and Vincenzo have truly created a little paradise, and being welcomed into it was unforgettable. The wine tour was fascinating, packed with insight and charm — and a perfect way to work up an appetite for the incredible meal that followed at Adamo Bio.
And what a feast it was! Every course was a celebration of local flavour and passion, perfectly paired with their own wines. It wasn’t just lunch; it was an experience – warm, generous, and deeply memorable.
Incredible value for money, too. Thank you, Liliana and Vincenzo, for such a magical day. We’ll be talking about it for years to come. xx

Ten people come in and ten friends come out - We were really lucky! According to the program the day would have been dedicated to the sea, but the bad weather, for once, favored us, diverting us to the visit of the ancient Adam ex Florio beam. Welcomed by the owners who accompanied us in the visit of the Baglio, we experienced the innovative capacity of the founders Florio also in the wine business, illustrated with devotion and enthusiasm by the hosts Vincenzo and Liliana Adamo and their passionate collaborators, who continued and made it their own. An exceptional lunch for quality and variety of food and wine completed the stay. The farewell was typical of an affectionate visit between family members. Experience that has widened our hearts and that we wish to anyone! Sincere thanks to the Adamo family for their work and commitment.

Great excursion - What an amazing experience, Vincenzo Adamo Owner of the farm picked us up in Palermo and told us lots of interesting information all the way to the first stop at his friend Aldo Viola's vineyard for a fantastic wine tasting and tour. And Vincenzo's amazing freshly squeezed olive oil. Then we went on to Baglio Florio Adamo for a fantastic lunch served by Vito and Adamo’s good wines. The genuine craftsmanship and guest treatment cannot be described in words. We had a great day with lots of interesting information, good food and great wines. Would definitely like to go back some day and recommend those who are nearby to book a visit. A big thank you to Vincenzo, Vito and Aldo.

Review of Tour - Overall we enjoyed the tour - it was an enjoyable experience followed by a great lunch. I will say though at the end of the tour we were rather surprised when the tour guide requested 100 euro transfer when we never requested that. The tour guide and I eventually agreed to 40 euro which in all honesty I should not have paid anything for a private transfer given a private transfer was not requested. I only agreed to the 40 euro because we were still an hour away from our destination and did not want to be stranded. I would ask the tour guide to update the booking because on there it says a private transfer can be requested. But if each group each time will get charged it, then that should be stated upfront. Besides that we had a great time.
