Got to see the captain in his undies! - TLDR; highly recommended We’ve taken the Lyric sunset sail a few times. The boat is well maintained and comfortable. The crew is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and fun. The music is always fantastic. And the view is stunning. It’s worth every penny, every time. But this time something extra happened. As we were getting off the boat at the end of the trip, I dropped my cane in the water. The captain offered to get it for me. I have another cane on the island and at first I figured it wasn’t worth it. But he said it wouldn’t be a problem so I asked him to get it and the rest of my group left to go to the restaurant. At first, the captain tried reaching for the cane with a pole, but the pole wasn’t quite long enough. So he said he would DIVE INTO THE WATER to get it! I didn’t want him to go to that much trouble, but I suddenly realized I had no way back to the car without my cane other than asking my friends to come back and get me. So I kind of needed the cane now. Now things get crazy and funny. The captain hadn’t brought his swim trunks. So he STRIPPED DOWN TO HIS SKIVVIES, found some fins, and dove in the water to get my cane. It was amazing and funny and kind. I can’t recommend this cruise and this crew enough. We are going on another sunset sail with them tomorrow. We’ll enjoy every second. And this time, I will be more careful with my cane. :)

Smooth Sailing - This was our 4th or 5th sail on the Jolly Mon, a great experience as always. Captain Brett provided a smooth ride while Marjorie kept our cup filled with rum punch. Pete Leske’s soothing vocals were a pleasant addition. Thank you Lyric Sails!

Chill sunset vibe! - Very nice evening. Nothing better than being on a boat on the ocean at dusk. Capt. and crew were excellent. Very chill vibe. Beautiful sunset and music by Gyasi Clarke was perfect! If you just want a few hours floating on the water watching the sun set, I highly recommend this tour.

Sunset sale with Steve Katz - as locals here on St Croix, this Sunset sale is one of our favorite things to do. The local talent for music is just fantastic and captain and crew guide you through the entire trip and are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this to anyone that’s visiting the islands itleaves out of the West End in Fredericksburg from the pier.

Disappointing music - to say the least. - Our favorite musician Mercy Child was not on the cruise as advertised (no explanation why) and instead a terrible saxophone player screeched out some songs. Not content to make us endure that from his seat at the stern, he kept coming out among the guests, literally blasting us in our faces. It was most annoying and detracted from what was supposed to be a serene, relaxing, sunset cruise. I will, in the future, try to remember to confirm before sailing that the entertainment will be as promised. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money.
