Get an up-close view of their neve and unique ice formations. The adventure includes a landing on the snowfields of one of the glaciers, offering a fantastic opportunity for photos, snowball fun, and unforgettable memories, before returning to Franz Josef Township.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- We recommend you bring along warm clothes, sunglasses, sturdy footwear, your camera and a sense of adventure!
- For safety reasons, we do not allow selfie sticks, drones, flammable liquids, lighters, iPads/ tablets and bags of any description on any of our flights.
- We fly all year round, weather permitting. Please note: On Christmas, we only operate for half the day (9 am - 12 pm).

Incredible experience not to be missed! - Spectacular views and awesome staff. Pilot was fantastic and gave us plenty of information about the history of the glaciers during the flight. Landing on the glacier and taking in the view was an incredible experience not to be missed!

Franz Joseph and Fox Glaciers with snow landing. - Amazing, squeezed the flight in between rain storms, awesome trip. Pilot was great, giving a commentary as we flew as well as handling incoming messages from other aircraft. Thanks.

Spectacular flight in excellent weather - We were really impressed that you took our phone call in the early evening on the day before we wanted to fly and booked us in over the phone. The flight was spectacular, and Simon was an excellent pilot and commentator. We’re so glad we did it and were blessed with sunny weather.

Twin Glacier Adventure - The Fox and Franz Twin Glacier Helicopter Flight from Franz Josef was a great adventure. Flying over the glaciers gave us beautiful views of the ice and peaks, and the snow landing was a special moment—stepping onto the glacier made it truly memorable. The pilot’s comments added a to the experience.

Request Left Side Seating - Before you purchase tickets for a flight, make sure you are guaranteed a front seat or left hand side seat for this trip. We were placed on the right hand side of the helicopter, behind the pilot. Unfortunately all the viewing of the glaciers were on the left hand side and the pilots commentary was also based on the left side views. When you pay the same price as everyone else for a flight, you expect to see the same things. Yes we did have views of the mountains and valleys out the right side window but we bought the flight to see glacier views! At no time were we told that we would have restricted views of the glaciers. I contacted the company whose stock standard reply was it had to do with weight distribution which I find interesting as the 3 other passengers on the left side were of fine build and weight whereas we were a much bigger and heavier build. Anyway not worth the money if you get stuck on the right hand side on this flight.
