Well worth doing - Well worth doing if you can afford it and weather is kind. Views are wonderful, and the Helicopter line were fantastic at every step of the trip

A Fantastic Experience - Unfortunately due to weather conditions we weren’t able to do the full package we had booked but a shorter flight with a landing on hard ground. The reception staff were brilliant in changing our booking time so that we could get a flight in as the forecast was for the weather to get worse which is exactly what happened. Our Pilot Thomas was really excellent, and very informative which helped to make the experience so much better. From checking in to completing the flight everything felt very safe and professional. We would definitely recommend The Flight Line.

Franz Josef glacier helicopter trip - We had the most wonderful helicopter trip and glacier landing with Glacier Helicopters in Franz Josef. Nothing was too much trouble and the team were helpful and super friendly. Would definitely recommend them.

Once in a lifetime opportunity! - A genuinely once in a lifetime experience! Superb from start to finish.
Professional and efficient preparation and safety briefing by friendly staff on the ground.
Helicopter ride itself amazing. Tom, our pilot, was reassuring, informative and knowledgeable.
To see, and land, on the glacier was spectacular.

Great, unforgettable experience - We booked the 40 min "Mountain Scenic spectacular" flight at 09:30. Due to the weather, only a 20 min flight "Neve discover" to the glacier would have been possible or waiting. We decided to wait and were able to make the "Twin Glacier" flight at 13:30 (30 min). It was worth the wait. The snow landing flight was an unforgettable experience & joins our spectacular helicopter flights such as Ayers Rock, Victoria Falls and Anapurna Base Camp.
Fascinating how close you get to the glacier, actually start from the rainforest and end up in the snow in alpine landscape.
The whole team, booking, organization, also refund of difference: perfect & first class ! Our pilot did a huge job, even taking pictures of us up in the snow :-)
Conclusion: A heli flight Fox / Franz Josef is a must have every NZ trip, but you should not schedule too tightly as it can be delayed due to weather, we experienced it & got lucky in the end.

Delivered what was promised and worth every cent. - The first reservation was canceled due to poor weather but the rebooked appointment the next was absolutely outstanding. The tour was worth every cent and delivered on all promises. The pilot was incredible - so friendly and informative.
