Let's get on the train - It is an unmissable experience. Enjoying the beautiful landscape of the vineyards of Cape Town and surrounding areas from a bus-train is fun, pleasant and comfortable.

Excellent - The staff is super helpful. Try to buy your ticket before getting there for they really stick to their schedules. The vineyards are beautiful. Definitely a MUST. Dedicate a good half a day at least.

Wonderful. - Our curated wine experience was incredible. Our tour guide Roger ensured we learnt at each farm, tasted the best wines at each farm and walked away feeling amazing. It was the best experience, and Roger was a wonderful host. We are very glad to have had Roger as our guide. He ensured we received the best wines at each farm, and assisted us with choosing our favorites from each farm to purchase. Thank you Roger for the most fantastic day, despite the rain.

Weintramm - Very good offer. To make the most of the time, you should prepare and visit 4 to max 5 wineries. We really liked Plaisir de Merle. Service, cheese and meat platter were top;-) We went there by sightseeing bus incl. transport by tram and buses. Price rather high for what is offered. Conclusion: we would do it again and limit ourselves to 3 wineries. Alternative e.g. with Uber.

Tram out of commission but fear not much fun had on the bus! - Unfortunately the tram was out of commission so we only had the bus. BUT we were given 50% back on what we paid. We still had a brilliant time. Met such lovely people on the busses. Busses run very timeously. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. We did the orange line. A fantastic Saturday. Loved it.

Hire a driver for better value - Our driver, Ernesto, was the best part of the tour. I give him 5 stars! Due the the weather and the limitations of the wine tram due to recent flooding, he truly adapted the experience to our interests. He actually ended up taking us to a brewery and to the last prison where Nelson Mandela was released. The wine tours are for people truly interested in wine. The tram part is kind of pointless if you can get a driver to take you around instead. With the tram, you are very restricted by their timing. If you do not get to the bus within an hour, you have to stay at that winery for another hour. Honestly, you can find a driver/tour guide in Cape Town for a better price with more flexibility.

crap, over priced and underperfomed.Maybe just do the piss ups - went on flavours of the vine experience.without questionthe worst wine experience had in 25 years of visiting cape area. nice people on meet and greet. were driven to a siding and got on single track train carriage.this vehicle moved along and for effect tooted its horn regularly and after being given a tasteless and not chilled'wine'from rickety bridge we returned,.The first tour was at goederust. The hosts made a good effort but for english ears the introduction was spoken too quickly. The germans nearby did not understand anything.!the wines were non descript. We went then to rickety bridge. What an appropriate name. Here in 30C were two wines presented both of which were not chilled ;a and rose and something else.An hour and a quarter later two more wines arrived and that was it.Reds can be lightly chilled! When the table asked for clean glasses we were told they were so busy that they had run out and we should use the original glasses.WHAT an advert for the Franschhoek Valley WINERIES.A tepid meal was presented. What a waste of time.Just under two and a half hours.Luckily they sold Savannah dry.We were there for a wine experience. Finally we were taken by a jalopy to Dieu Donne. This vehicle barely got up the road and cannot be recommended for anyone with piles. This beautiful estate with its charming tasting room gave a wine with chocolate experience .The final red I believe called brush and for us was wine of the day. Why wasn't the rep going round questioning about matters during matters.....?Thank goodness we were staying in Franschhoek and were able to drink many fabulous local wines.
