2ter Rue Mably - With a local wine expert, enjoy a tasting workshop, between the atmosphere of a wine bar and a course of oenology in the heart of Bordeaux, 2 steps away from the Grand Theatre.
A workshop to acquire in-depth notions such as: terroir, grape varieties, appellation, classification, vinification/winemaking, aging, storage and the art of wine service. No knowledge is required to attend this experience, you will learn while having fun on site!
The tasting will start with a first glass of white wine, allowing you to learn the key steps of the tasting with a universal method.
The tasting will continue with 3 glasses of regional single grape variety red wines to understand their characteristics and the interest of blending, a common practice in the region.
Finally, you will taste 2 fine wines, one from the left bank, the second from the right bank, one of which is a Bordeaux grand cru.
Wines will be paired with fine local charcuterie and cheeses to enhance your immersion in the local culture, while learning some basic knowledge about food and wine pairing.
A travel through Bordeaux and its wines, no more hesitation on the choice of the bottles after this class!

Great way to learn... - Great way to learn everything about Bordeaux wines in a short period of time. Was exactly what I was looking for and gave me the base of knowledge to go explore the right and left banks.

Wine Tasting in Bordeau Olala - Very entertaining and interesting lecture by Antione! As described and good value. Would definitely recommend ! Only a small group today do felt intimate and able to ask questions freely which Antione was happy to answer with knowledge and good humour.

Well spent money - Anna made a brilliant work lecturing about wine in general and particularly wines from Bordeaux. Considering the many new insights she shared it was well spent money to visit the "master class".

Great Class in Bordeaux - Presenter was very knowledgeable and adjusted his discussion to the knowledge level of the audience. Went longer than 90minutes so plan accordingly. Great class well worth it!!!

Fantastic - Learned so much about the history of wine in Bordeaux, the importance of the it all and varietals. Really fascinating. Nice tasing experience. Highly recommend if you enjoy wine.

Very knowledgable red wine expert! - A really engaging, immersive experience with a local wine expert who works at various chateaus in Bordeaux. He was very knowledgable on wine. Learnt about the taste of the different grapes, with a presentation. 5 different reds, cheese and meat. Came out with a lot of new knowledge especially on the history of wine and the regions of Bordeaux. Would recommend to anyone who wants to brush up/learn about red wine.

Interesting class - We visited on a very hot day in July. We really enjoyed the class. Hugo was very informative, friendly and helpful. The class is very much focused on the wines of Bordeaux (Left / Right back ect). Mixture of history / theory and tasting. Highly recommended.
