This remarkable tour provides an unforgettable view created by the vast array of waterfalls at Foz do Iguaçu. Once inside the park, a van or bus will transport visitors to the trails and walkways that face the falls. Participants will walk for 40 minutes to 1 hour on the trails and walkways on the Brazilian side, offering panoramic views of the Argentine side.
- Macuco Safari - The adventure kicks off at the entrance to the Macuco Safari, located 25 kilometers down Cataratas Highway within Iguassu National Park. Board open jeep-towed wagons that offer an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail. During the three-kilometer journey through the jungle, multilingual guides will highlight examples of the park’s flora and fauna.
Guides will point out orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, ancient trees, and even wild animals that occasionally cross the trail.
- Iguazu Falls - On a 600-meter stretch, there is a hike on a trail leading to a waterfall known as “Macuco Falls.” The waterfall cascades from a height of approximately 20 meters. Access is via a stairway carved into the ancient rock. A short drive in an open-top jeep takes visitors to the final stop, the docks on the Brazilian side of the Iguassu River.
In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats await. They are designed to withstand the rigors of the excursion, ensuring safety and efficiency. Before boarding, passengers receive life vests and plastic containers to protect photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels upriver, passing the canyon and facing the rapids at a speed that allows for scenic viewing.
Rainbows, blue skies, mist, and abundant water enhance the spectacle, with the highlight being “The Three Musketeers.” Here, the captain maneuvers the boat close enough to provide passengers with a quick and refreshing shower.
