Time of our life - We had a group of 4 adults including my 25 yo son with autism who is normally stressed out by loud noises. Cris picked us up on time and was very patient with us. Because it was a private tour, we never felt rushed and she accommodated all our needs, always on time. We even learned that my son and I get free entrances for caregiver At the Argentina park entrance and the Bird Park and the Three Border Tango show for disability. We used the money saved to pay Cris extra for her to take us to the Bird Park and Tango show on the second day after finishing the Argentina side. She gave us an hour break to shower and dress up for the event. Watching the Devil’s Throat and the sunset at the 3 borders Brazil Argentina Paraguay was very impressive. It gave us a surprise end of our tour. Just wonderful. We didn’t do the boat tours and enjoyed taking pictures and hiking. Cris even let us hike extra on a trail full of butterflies at the end of our first day because we didn’t want to go to the hotel yet. My 23 yo son loved talking to her and getting to know this beautiful country. My sister in law was so happy I made the right decision booking us a private tour so we can just be in control of our time. Cris made crossing the border very easy since we agreed to be picked up early at 7:15am. I would just suggest to reach out to tourists sooner because I was nervous not hearing from anyone yet up til the day before and had to ask the hotel receptionist to help me contact my tour guide via what’s app. We have Cris wrong flight information and had to correct the info in the middle of the night and by miracle they got it and picked us up at 9am instead of 2pm. That alone saved our trip. I would highly recommend her to you to make your trip completely carefree.

Amazing views and colors - It was great to spend the time with Nilsa and her team. Everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful and therefore we got a lot of information while saving quite some time. I‘d like to point out, that Nilsa was very flexible with creating an itinerary tailored to our wishes.
The Waterfalls are amazing. While it‘s not very cheap, I‘d definitely recommend to visit both sides (Argentinian & Brazilian) as they offer very different views! The boat trip was great fun - to be honest it‘s more for the action, the view is better from the trails.
For visiting Itaipu power plant no guide is needed, just take a taxi to the visitor center.
One of my personal highlights was the bird park with all its shiny colors - make sure not to skip that as it‘s on the way to the falls anyway!

100% recommend. - Cris was our guide who was the nicest tour guide you could honestly meet. She always kept us up to date of what was happening and gave us tips in terms of what her recommendations were for the falls. She took so many lovely photos for us. The boat trip took longer than expected when we went into the falls and Cris made every effort to bring us to the best spots for photos after our delay. We had great conversations with her and she gave us so much information about the area. She went above and beyond for us and even patiently waited for us while we went to the atm, visited some shops etc. I would 100% recommend Cris. You will be extremely lucky to spend your two days with her. So enjoyable. What a fantastic trip with great memories. Thank you Cris!

Iguazu Argentina & Brazil - Our Guide Adriano is incredible! He is so knowledgeable about the plants and birds in Iguazu. We had the private tour which was well worth the money because we tailored our trip. Adriano is friendly and informative without it being too much. We did both Brazil and Argentina in the one day tour and we highly recommend!!!

For 1 full day to Iguaçu Falls with no stress, Nilsa will handle it all! - My brother and I had one full day two nights to visit Iguaçu Falls. We really wanted to visit both sides and do the boat tour. Many reviews online said this was going to be very difficult. Nilsa made our experience a breeze! She promptly picked us up at our hotel at 7:30. We visited the Argentina side of the falls. Walking with us and sharing information for about half of the walk and allowing us to walk on our own take photos by ourselves the other half. We did both the lower and upper circuits (devils throat was closed during our visit). We then made our way back to the air conditioned van around 11 to make our way to the Brazil side of the falls. We were through the boarder under 5 minutes without having to get out of the van. Nilsa helped us purchase the boat tickets and park entry tickets once we arrived to the park entrance. My brother and I spent the next 90 minutes walking the Brazil side paths. Nilsa met us at the top of the elevator. Showed us lunch options and helped us find a seat at the restaurant. Around 3 we made our way to Macuco Safari. Again Nilsa explained what to expect and things we should take with us vs leave in the car. We had an absolutely incredible time. We are both experienced travelers but the ease of having Nilsa navigate the transfers, tickets, paths and translation for us was priceless. Plus she is the sweetest sole that we enjoyed talking with. 15 years of experiences and friends with many of the guides and park staff. She truly wants all her guests to have a memorable time! I will be recommending her to anyone visiting Iguaçu Falls.

Amazing falls, the tour is ok - The Falls are beautiful and I recommend it highly - really worth a visit!
The tour was okay overall, I'd give it 3.5 out of 5. The communication ahead of time was scattered. The business WhatsApp number didn't reply, just sent automated messages "I'll get back to you shortly". One lady was partially responsive through the emails, but no detailed plan was given what we'll do on this tour, more like "we'll go with the flow" kind of vibe. A day before a start day I was considering to cancel the tour because of the lack of clear and responsive communication, but decided to keep it and deal with the refund with Viator later on, if that would be necessary. On the night before the tour started, I finally got a message about meeting point and time of 10:30am, they couldn't pick us from the Argentinian airport, so we had to take a taxi to the Brazilian border, where the guide waited to us. Nilsa spoke a good English, walked with us through the passport control, and dropped us off at the park from the Brazilian side. We were on our own in the park, so it was kind of a taxi service. We've been back to the hotel around 4pm, and were informed that if we go to the Argentinian side in the morning, it takes about 4 hours to tour it, and we'll be dropped off at the hotel again (after checking out), and we'll need to take a taxi to the airport at 5pm for our flight back. We decided to start at 11:30am instead of 8am, and later realized, that 4 hours in the park is not enough to tour it, since the park has 3 trails and it takes a whole day to get to all the falls in the park. We did only 2 trails and one of them only partially because we didn't have enough time. So I felt I was mislead about the timing and the services included in the package, and while is stated the whole 2 days tour, and was about 5 hours of taxi services on the first day, and 5.5 hours on the second day. The guide on the second day was lively (young lady and we were her first tour after she got her license), she got us on the train without a line with just being friendly in Portuguese. She was super helpful and lovely, the only con is her English is very basic, we often couldn't understand her and she couldn't understand us, so there were very little detail about the fauna, animals, and biodiversity of the falls.
Overall, this tour is about two half days package, and probably overpriced for the service provided. The falls are amazing and completely worth visiting, even if you do it on your own.

Not good value for money… Would not recommend… - For us, this tour was average - it wasnt awful, but it wasnt amazing either… For the price, I cant recommend it.
Positives: logistics were good, communication in advance of the tour was clear, quick response times; guide/driver arrived on time, car was clean and in good condition, driving was good and safe; guide/driver checked in on us regularly (how we are doing, how we are feeling, what we want to do next, etc.), and helped with all border crossing logistics. Trying to manage both parks in one day with public transport would have been complicated and stressful, so having a private driver/guide was appreciated.
Negatives:
1) Park entrance is not included in the price - which is fine, we knew that already - but what we werent told beforehand is that tickets can be bought online in advance. If we were told that, we would have done it, and saved ourselves 30 minutes waiting in line in the hot sun…
2) The guide didnt tell us much that wasnt basic, general information that we could have read by ourselves online… Some questions we asked, to try to have deeper understanding, he couldnt provide good, detailed answers… On the way back to the hotel, he was pointing out things like a chinese restaurant… This was not the kind of “guiding” we were expecting for the tour price…
3) We had a bus to catch from Ciudad del Este that night and we almost missed it because the guide told us there was a one hour time difference between Brazil and Paraguay, when in fact there was not! Apart from the stress this created, it also made us question how much of anything he told us was accurate…
In summary, I cannot say the tour is good value for money or worth the price… Hiring a taxi driver for the day would have been much cheaper and mostly provided the same service…
Also we booked in advance because we were unfamiliar with travelling in South America - the cities and towns where major tourist sites are full of travel agencies offering similar things, so competition is fierce - you will always find something cheaper in person when you are there compared to what you will find online in advance, dont worry!
