Great, if short, experience. - Really great experience. Flight was safe and spectacular. Improvements can be made on logistics though as starting point provided was incorrect.

Great fun and fantastic view and access to the top of Franz Josef glacier. - Celebrating 40 years, to the exact day in 1985, of my first of many flights as a pilot of Gazelle helicopter [grandfather of this range of single engine helicopters]. Quite a significant day to get back in a helicopter once again in my retirement from a full and rewarding career with helicopters! What great fun with super views of Franz Josef glacier and straight to the top in a comfortable safe and quiet helicopter. Single Squirrel was roomy and easy to access. Ground crew safety brief was too quietly spoken for an older audience but control around the helicopter was well managed. Good communication and commentary by Simon our pilot and all flying manoeuvres done IAW the manual. Landing spot on the flat ice was unique and walk about away from rotors running aircraft was a strange experience but accepted as a normal procedure in NZ. Had a informative chat about the aircraft with Simon and had lots of photos taken. Just a quick up and down 7,000 ft but to that’s the versatility of helicopters

A must do activity - highly recommend! - Was amazing! A must do experience. Save your money and spend up on this activity. Was the absolute highlight of our South Island summer road trip. Staff were fantastic. Issac looked after all the safety issues and transport to the helicopter area. Clark was our pilot and very informative and flew us over and alongside Fox Glacier and pointed out so many interesting things along the way. The snow landing was fantastic and I enjoyed watching our family having a snow fight in the middle of summer.

Worth it! - One of the highlights of our trip. So good. We were booked for a 4pm lift off for 1 glacier(Franz), but the weather had packed up by then. The company rescheduled us for next day morning. Luckily the weather was clear and view was spectacular.

Once in a lifetime experience - Amazing! Must do highlight of our trip. No better way to see the glaciers and experience Fox and Franz Joseph. Poppy our pilot was phenomenal. In addition to being a great pilot she provided an overview of the valley and changes to the glaciers over time.

Incredible - Amaxing unforgettable experience. Staff were all lovely and we were lucky to go up on a clear sunny afternoon. Pilot was great. We weren't sure about spending so much on something that lasted 20 minutes but it was incredible and most memorable part of our month long trip around South island. Now you can only get to within 2km of glacier on the ground, a flight is a must.

Amazing experience! - We had an amazing experience with the Helicopter Line and particularly Vicky (the manager), Amy (the loader), Kate (in the office) and Dion our amazing pilot. The staff were amazing to deal with and the pilot was very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend doing this as the views were stunning, the experience was once-in-a-lifetime and we will remember this for a long time! Thank you!
