- Moni Aretiou - Next stop is in medieval Monastery called Aretiou. It is located in very quiet area, surrounded by rocks and 12 old cypress trees. You can walk around to see its interior and meet very friendly monk Father Evmenios.
- Plaka Marina- boot Spinalonga - Ahead of us is a place called Plaka - it is a small fishing village, but with a huge soul and long history filled with interesting facts! On the way to Plaka the guide is telling us history facts about Spinalonga island which is opposite to the village. After that we will have a free time for a delicious lunch with fresh seafood in one of the best taverns in the area and time to dip into the clear Cretan Sea. Just next to the tavern there is an excellent beach with crystal clear water - however, the entrance here is rocky, so better be prepared! Special shoes for swimming will be a good choice!
- Agios Nikolaos - Our fabulous journey ending up with a stop in a very romantic and picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos. Here you can wander along its tiny streets, visit authentic souvenir shops, walk near the coast or just enjoy a cup of aromatic coffee in a cozy cafe!

Perfect day trip - Helena was lovely, we were picked up in an air conditioned spotless vehicle and she was so friendly. We visited a traditional village which was really pretty, a monastery and then a beautiful town where a table was reserved for us right on the water - it was incredible. We swam and went onto one last town, but the day was flexible to suit us. Helena’s knowledge was amazing, she made sure we had the best day, wonderful tour!

Beautiful day - We were picked up by Helena, who was lovely. Her English was superb and her knowledge of the island incredible. We saw a traditional village, a monastery, and had lunch in the most incredible tavern where our table was reserved overlooking the water- food was out of this world. We swam, and then saw another lovely little town, the day was well planned and flexible should we have wanted to do anything different. Helena was the perfect guide for the day.

The perfect family day with Cherry Travel - Our private tour in Eastern Crete with Cherry Travel was absolutely unforgettable. As a family of three, we were looking for a mix of scenic views, history, and light adventure — and this tour delivered it all in the best way. The day was well-paced, with each stop offering something different, from traditional villages to panoramic viewpoints over the stunning Mirabello Gulf and the island of Spinalonga.
A real highlight for our family was the visit to Amazones Park, where we got to feed lemurs by hand — such a unique and joyful experience, especially for our child! It was the kind of moment that brings a tour to life and adds a personal, fun memory to the day. We appreciated how flexible and friendly our guide was, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
The tour ended with a peaceful stroll and a coffee break in Agios Nikolaos, which was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Everything was smooth, easygoing, and beautifully organized. We’re so grateful to Cherry Travel for creating such a special experience — truly a highlight of our time in Crete!

Great custom tour and transfer - We arranged a private customized tour with cherry travel. Elena picked us up on time and gave us a great tour from Heraklion to Chiana with several interesting stops on the way. She was well informed and very knowledgeable. This was a great day for my husband and I.

Breathtaking Crete Was Truly Breathtaking - We recently took the "Breathtaking Crete" tour, and it truly lived up to its name. The route was superb, showcasing the island's stunning beauty and rich history. Our guide, Helen, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Since we didn't want to swim, Helen went above and beyond by showing us the extra sites of Lato ancients and Kriti village. We're very grateful to Cherry Travel for organizing such a wonderful trip. Highly recommend it!

Great tour! - My husband and I visited Crete during our business trip and had only two days to see this beautiful island. We had two options – rent a car and explore the island by ourselves or go on a tour with a guide who drives a car. I’m glad we picked the latter. Touring with a guide is like adding another dimension to the picture! You enjoy the ride in a comfortable car while learning a lot about Crete. We picked two different agencies for 2 days we had available. After all, we wish we picked only the Cherry Travel and Alexander as our guide for both days! Alexander is very passionate about Crete. From the very first minute of the trip, you feel immersed in Crete’s history, culture, and cuisine. In addition, we were a part of a small group, not on a private tour which usually costs much more, nor in a big group where the guide is trying to get everybody’s attention. We were able to ask Alexander any questions, from the history of Crete to what souvenirs we can bring back home from the island. With all the love Alexander expresses towards his job and Crete, he creates a unique entertaining and educational experience. It was evident that the tour content was carefully picked. Food and service in the tavern we stopped for lunch was very good. Not to mention, the booking was very easy, thanks to the help of Daria. She responded quickly and answered all our questions. Thank you, Cherry Travel! Excellent experience!

Top service and unforgettable impressions - I booked 2 tours through this operator. Both tours were very well organized. All questions before booking were answered very quickly and in detail. The company's employees in the office and on the tours are very professional and customer-oriented. I learned a lot about the country, culture and history and would book more tours with this operator if I had more time. Thank you very much!

Interesting, compact and very beautiful! - A very interesting mini trip to Crete. Thanks to the guide Elena, who talked a lot and interestingly about the island, we plunged into history and felt the atmosphere and spirit of Crete. The route was built perfectly, in a short period of time we rode along serpentine roads with gorgeous views of the island and mountains, walked around a small village and drank coffee, looked into the monastery, enjoyed the view of the bay, ate delicious seafood, swam with a mesmerizing view of the mountains, saw Spinalonga , walked around Agios Nikolaos. All this was accompanied by stories from Elena and, of course, a pleasant company of the same tourists. I really liked the guide, the stories were not boring and interesting, Elena herself told additional information that could be useful to tourists, stopped so that we could take photos, and noticed all the little things.
We definitely recommend the tour, suitable for both adults and children.

Great Crete Adventure Tour - What a great day with Helena (?) There were 7 of us in a van, and she was able to take us to two small unpopulated towns; Fourni and Krista.; which were most interesting, We tasted some strong Greek coffee in Fourni. We also visited Agios Nikolaos, and Plaka for a lunch stop. I decided to skip lunch and take the boat to Spinalonga..as I had read the book "The Island". Great walk around the ruins. Helena was able to have the restaurant owner prepare me a take a long lunch and delivered it to me as I boarded the boat. She really went above with her kindness as I was the only one to take the boat over to the Island, A great day and I so enjoyed every moment, She is a great guide.
