Mothers Day on the water - I was originally booked for the 7 mile tour but due to windy conditions & it being my first time paddleboarding, the company asked me if I would like to instead kayak by myself for a bit, have a SUP lesson and then join the eco tour. Danni was my guide, along with her trusty pup Benny. They taught me the ropes & then we were off to explore the surrounding waterways and the mangroves. We saw local animals and even got up close to a manatee! Danni made me feel very special, she was kind, knowledgeable and accommodating to the group. She and Benny made my Mother’s Day one of the most memorable! I will go back over and over!

Tour guide Daniela - I can’t say enough good things about our experience, especially our guide, Daniela! This was one of the main things we wanted to do during our stay, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Daniela seemed just as excited to show us around as we were to experience everything. You could genuinely tell she loves what she does and truly cares about the canals, mangroves, and all the wildlife that calls them home. Her energy, knowledge, and passion made the whole experience even more special. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting!

Fun kayaking adventure - I had a wonderful time as a solo kayaker on this two-hour excursion. There is the option to do a paddleboard or kayak. Sarah was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who was kind enough to share photos and videos with us that she took during our tour.

Family fun, friendly guides - Our family, including an older school age kid and tween, had a lovely time led by our kind and relaxed host Dani and her adorable 4-legged co-host Bennie. A tranquil meander down the Middle River felt secluded even in the middle of the city. No manatees this time of year, but water birds, mangroves, fish, and iguanas; a fun trip for everyone even without the animals. Kids under 10 may want to ride tandem unless they have had experience kayaking and don’t tire super easily.

A pleasant couple of hours - 25 of us went kayaking through a residential neighborhood into a small mangrove inlet, then turned back. We saw two herons and a duck, no manatees (maybe too late in season?) $100 each felt rather pricey for the experience, but I’m not sorry we did it. Sarah and Danni were sweet guides.

Great staff, cool experience - We booked this tour through viator, and apparently viator never told the business but they were super friendly about it and were able to accomodate us. There did seem to be some confusion about actually participating in an actual “tour”, but I’m not certain if it was our confusion or the guides. She offered to give us a map and sent us on our way. Either way, we were happy with our experience and the guys at the shop offered us to go back out or try to catch up with the tour. So overall I would definitely suggest booking with this business based on how they handled the situation and their friendly, professional manner. I would book with them again - directly. Just call ahead if you use viator, I guess.

Rough family outing, be warned - We booked this because my son loves animals, but saw no animals. Not even a turtle. We kayaked for miles with no shade, very few breaks, and no water to drink (that was our fault, but they could have told us). Do not book this expecting to see wildlife. We ended up dehydrated, sunburned, and sore the next day. If you are an experienced kayaker and very athletic, you might like it. Be sure to pack water and apply sunscreen to wrists, ankles and shins.
