Great stop while in Key West - Lots to see up close! Really enjoyed the mangrove tank, with sharks, barracuda, sea turtles and tarpon! There was also a huge green moray eel, and keeper talks. Free feed outside in the wild fish sea tank- and many varieties came up to eat! It was a fun stop and love the history of it also.

Great exhibits, excellent staff that’s very knowledgable about everything in the aquarium. Tours on the half hour, covering all the different exhibits in the aquarium. Learn about sea turtles, health and rescue. Watch the feeding of all the different fish and sharks! What a fun afternoon… bring the kiddos!

Great entertainment - This is a great little awuarium. We did the indoor exhibits and really enjoyed all of the species of fish that was there. Outside shows were great as well

Pricey but worth it for the cause - The aquarium is nice, small, exhibits are pretty, seems well cared for. Outside exhibits were very limited and some under construction. Because of these factors the price was high. That said, it’s a non-profit dedicated to good work so I don’t mind supporting them.

The aquarium is small,... - The aquarium is small, but they do a good job with what they have. The staff were friendly and helpful. It wasn’t crowded when we were there so was easy to get a good view of presentation and ask questions. The presentations were 15-30 apart so you didn’t have to wait long. The morning presentations repeated again in afternoon, so since ticket is good all day (can leave and re-enter) you can catch a presentation later if needed. Only gave 4 stars because like most everything in Key West it is a little overly priced for the value in my opinion. However, I do recommend it especially on a rainy day since most presentations are indoors.

Definitely worth a visit and informative talks - We really enjoyed the Key West Aquarium. It's a fairly small aquarium but it kept the kids entertained for an hour or so. The talks were very informative (we attended the sting ray and turtle talk) and there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions. There were also fish in the tanks to look at too. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Afternoon Break - We visited here on a recent trip to Key West. The aquarium was nice, but small. Close to the cruise port, even though we were not on a cruise. The staff was friendly. They offered us free photos. We saw plenty of fish and turtles. A nice stop to escape the heat.

It was ok, nothing to write home about. - The aquarium was ok. It’s very small and doesn’t have any parking which was a bummer so we got soaked walking there from our car which didn’t make for a great experience. They also don’t have a bathroom there you have to go to the mall next door. They had a decent amount of fish and some turtles and rays. My daughter’s favorite part was the touch tank. It’s all basically in one room and I think the gift shop is larger than the actual aquarium.

Smelly and depressing - Not what we expected; I felt sorry for the sealife living in such small pools. I know its a very old venue and they do the best they can but not worth going, unless you're craving air conditioning.

I have been to several... - I have been to several aquariums. This is a very small. You can walk through less than 30 minutes. It’s a nice to visit if you’re under 10 years old. Teenage I wouldn’t recommend.
