Experience the “Quiet Alternative to an Airboat Ride” with our boating, kayaking, and walking tour in Everglades National Park. This is our most sought-after tour! Accompanied by a Florida Master Naturalist Guide on the boat, participants will search for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rosette spoonbills, herons, egrets, ospreys, eagles, and shore birds, while learning about the diverse ecosystems, rich history, and vibrant culture of the Everglades.
At the first sheltered stop, very stable kayaks will be deployed. The quietness of the kayak allows for close encounters with the local flora and fauna. The next stop is an uninhabited barrier island beach, where a leisurely, hands-on walking tour will be conducted. Expect to discover more seashells than ever before.
After the walk, participants will return to the kayaks, then the boat, and finally back to the home base.
Note: From June through October, morning tours are recommended due to weather conditions.
