This trip was great even on a chilly, rainy day. - This trip was great even on a chilly, rainy day. We saw a lot of wildlife - dolphins, pelicans, ospreys, vultures, oyster catcher, terns, cormorants, egrets and herons. The dolphins were the highlight. They were all round the boat at one time feeding on a shoal of fish with pelicans too. The captain gave us a lot of very interesting information on the wildlife and also local history. Booking and check in was easy. There's plenty of parking and a gift shop and restroom at the dock.

Excellent Education, Entertainment and Suggestions for More (Dress Warmly) - The captain was excellent for education and entertainment. His mate mostly steered the boat while the captain described the area and its history. The trip is a slow "no wake" trip until out of the channel then sped up to go to the last island before all Florida Islands were behind us with Marco Island buildings visible 22 miles to the north. He described the many types of birds we saw and the dolphins who came to play near our boat. He also gave suggestions we followed of where to stand on viewing boardwalks to see alligators in the wild in Big Cypress National Preserve at HP Williams Park and Nathaniel P. Reed Visitor Center. 1/28/26 probably set a record wind chill with temperatures barely above freezing and 20 MPH tailwind going out and headwind coming back. We dressed for it and were still cold, so dress in layers to be sure you are warm. The trip is worth the effort and price.

Fun and Educational - Four of us went on the trip, and we had a nice time. The captain was informative, the weather cooperated, and we saw many kinds of birds, lots of dolphins, and even a couple of manatees. Savvy explorers will take a sun hat but also a warm jacket as it gets a bit chilly when the boat goes fast. It was definitely worth the trip down to Everglades City and was a pleasant way to entertain a guest with some mobility issues and her photographer husband. Enjoyable for all ages and good value for the money.

Pleasant Outing - Pleasant outing on the water in Everglades National Park. Lots of different birds but no water life to see. Interesting commentary.

Relaxing and Enjoyable... - This is a laid back boat tour focusing on the formation of the different types of islands and the limited wildlife that inhabit them. We saw many Pelicans, Seagulls, nesting Osprey and a small pod of Dolphins which included a very small baby Dolphin which was quite cute.

Explore other options for tours before choosing - We were hoping to view many more birds. We did see a lot of dolphins and rode out to the ocean. We learned about Everglades City and the Ten thousand Islands. The guide really pushed the group to eat in town. At times he was hard to understand in the microphone. Part of the tour was the boardwalk. Skip it, it’s broken down and forgotten, an eyesore.

Relaxed boat ride through National Forest - This tour was about an hour and a half slow speed ride into the National Park. Views were large open water, lined with trees, and an occasional small beach. We saw several different bird types and several dolphins. The guide was knowledgeable but hard to hear. It was very low key but a means to experience the park if never before.

Pretty Lame - This boat tour goes through the channel out to the Golf of Mexico and then turns around and comes back. Pretty lame.
