Beyond its more than 40 magnificent beaches, “Floripa”—as the city is affectionately called—offers a variety of attractions. During the tour, visitors will explore the historical center, home to the charming little yellow metropolitan cathedral.

• Praca XV de Novembro - In the city’s most significant square, visitors will discover Praça XV de Novembro (15th of November Square, named after the date the republic was proclaimed), where the impressive Palace Cruz e Souza is located, now serving as the historical museum of Santa Catarina.

The Palace holds great significance, having witnessed numerous pivotal moments in Brazilian history. It hosted both Brazilian emperors during their visits and was overtaken by revolutionaries during the federalist revolution in 1891. This palace has indeed been a part of history.

• Hercilio Luz Bridge - Named after the Governor of Santa Catarina, the Hercilio Luz Bridge is another historical and visually captivating site. It was the first bridge built to connect the Island of Santa Catarina to the mainland.
• Lagoa da Conceicao - Naturally, in a city like Floripa, the beaches and lagoons are essential to visit. One of the stops is the renowned natural landmark, Lagoa da Conceição. The neighborhood features not only a lagoon but also several buildings from the city’s colonial era.

Visitors will enjoy the view from the Lagoa da Conceição belvedere, offering a stunning and comprehensive view of the lagoon and Sete Voltas Hill.

• Avenida das Rendeiras - Following this, the tour continues along Rendeiras Avenue, leading to Joaquina Beach, a venue for various national and international surfing championships. The beautiful waves make it a popular spot for surfing enthusiasts.
• Barra da Lagoa - After leaving Joaquina, the tour proceeds to Barra da Lagoa, where there will be free time for lunch (not included).
