AMAZING experience in... - AMAZING experience in Flores! Our guide Lloyd was great, really engaging and had super in depth knowledge of the history at Yaxhá. The site is also nice and quiet, when we went there were only about 2 or 3 other groups of people so you feel a bit like you have the place to yourself. Perfect place to see wildlife too - we saw baby howler monkeys and spider monkeys as soon as we hopped out of the van! The sunset was slightly obscured by a tree but still beautiful. If you're spending more than 1 day in Flores I think this is a perfect activity!

Very nice :) - Immediately saw monkeys walking in!! It’s an 2hr drive then we stop to pick up more ppl/get snacks bc there’s nothing inside Yaxha then we walk around diff areas and then see sunset!! (ask to stay on the ruins imo it’s better then the deck that looks out to the lake)

Great experience! - Amazing experience visiting Yaxhá and highly recommend this tour. The site was much less crowded than Tikal which made it feel even more special, and hearing the loud monkeys throughout the jungle the entire time was super cool. The tour was very organized and the guide was extremely knowledgeable as well.

Good value for money. - Good tour even though it was cloudy and we could not see the sunrise. We weren’t advised that we had to bring lunch, but the accompanying guide got us some sandwiches talking to an establishment he knew. I recommend taking it beforehand. The journey is long because the roads are in bad shape, but worth it.

Worth seeing! - It’s a two hour drive then 45 minutes wasted while we wait to get tickets. Then we wait for all the other buses to show up. It was a bit of a shock with the length of wasted time. After that though, it was an incredible trip! See Tikal AFTER this site though. I did it in the wrong order. You will appreciate this site so much more if you do it first! The guide was great.

The tall temple is... - The tall temple is currently closed for getting great views, so that is one part. The ones that are available are either rather small at the top (and everyone crowds there) or not so high. But the view from either is just okay. It's much smaller than Tikal, so not sure why we needed so much time other than to listen to Lloyd drone on about weird weird things that no one was asking. Also, not sure why the driver loved driving on the other side of the road always. The way there I thought it was because of road conditions, but then he drove on the opposite side coming back where he could

Surprise tour - The tour departs at 12, and when you are arriving at the archaeological area, they tell you that you are very early and offer an additional tour; if you are not encouraged to pay for this tour, you can wander around until they return. It's not that the tour is bad, but it is not correct.
