• San Gimignano - Upon meeting the driver, the journey will continue to San Gimignano, a delightful medieval village often referred to as the “Town of Fine Towers.” Originally home to over 70 towers, 14 still stand today, creating an open-air museum that transports visitors to a bygone era. San Gimignano is famous for its saffron, the “Golden Ham,” and its white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, made from the ancient Vernaccia grape variety grown on the nearby sandstone hills. In Piazza della Cisterna, be sure to sample some of the world’s finest gelato, and as you wander through the village’s streets, appreciate the exceptional craftsmanship of local artisans. For a stunning view of the Tuscan hills, consider climbing the Torre Grossa, the tallest tower in the city.
• Chianti Road - At the end of the visit, the journey will continue along one of the most scenic “Tuscan Wine Roads,” winding through the heart of the Chianti countryside. Along the route, there will be a stop amidst the rolling vineyards, an ideal spot to capture breathtaking photos of the iconic Tuscan landscape. From there, the journey will proceed to a charming winery and farm, where an authentic Tuscan lunch awaits, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. This memorable experience will be complemented by a guided tasting of some of the region’s finest wines, providing a true taste of Chianti’s rich winemaking heritage.
