Wonderful experience - This was a very unique tour and it was also very informative! I learned a lot about Montepulciano wine and the history of the region from the Ercolani cellar, which was where our first tasting was hosted. We tried some fabulous wines and cheeses there before going on to another town and then another winery. This tour was a fantastic!

Can’t express how good... - Can’t express how good this was. Mike our driver is an encyclopaedia knows his history inside and out. First winery tasting in the tunnels at montepulcino was so interesting fabulous wines and Lucia was very knowledgeable about all the history. The second at montealcino was more modern but the host really knew her stuff. Excellent tour and well worth it

Perfect day - thank you Simona! - Simona was a wealth of information and so much fun! Gorgeous countryside, just enough history of the region and of Brunello. We had a perfect day. We had booked a group tour but only my sister and I showed so we basically had a private tour. Easy conversation, wonderful wine tastings (and purchases), a perfect lunch in Pienza (the soup!). I can’t say enough!

Perfect wine tasting tour! - This wine tour exceeded all our expectations. Everything was beautifully curated and smoothly organized. The two wineries we visited were quite different from each other, yet both were excellent. Lunch in Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage site, was also unforgettable. Paola, our tour leader, was amazing—warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. It was simply a perfect day in Tuscany.

Great wine tasting and Tuscan tour - Wine tasting to Montepulciano and Montalcino was great! Ask for Mike, he is a great driver and guide. Trip is well worth the time to see the Tuscany countryside and smaller villages.

Great tour, very enjoyable day, worth the investment. - Great day trip from Florence. We traveled with our two adult children and both generations enjoyed the day. We toured two wineries, with tastings, visited a quaint city after lunch that offered fun shopping and tremendous views of the rolling hills, enjoyed a very tasty local lunch, and learned about the history of Montepulciano. Our driver Mike, was a great (and safe) driver, who shared feedback about local culture and history along the way. The van had an eight guest capacity, but was much more comfortable with our six guest booking. As it was, our 6’2” son was a bit cramped in the back seat. Nothing that took away from the day, though, but something to keep in mind if traveling with larger passengers. We were fortunate that only two additional people joined us today. I would definitely book this trip again. Action packed day, beautiful scenery, food wine, cheese, and food. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Good wine tasting experience - It was a fun day of wine tasting at 2 locations. The first stop was amazing as they walked us thru the vineyards (even tho they are “sleeping” right now). Showed us their crush facility, then all the different barrels used in their fermentation and aging process. Then on to tasting their wines. Their Brunellos were amazing and got to taste a few of them along with their Super Tuscan. Next we had lunch at a local restaurant in Pienza. The food was incredible. Tried the local Pici pasta with wild boar sauce. Recommend if you have tried it. Then on to Montepulciano. The place we tasted at has a lot of deep history with under ground caves and ancient pieces to look at. Their wine was great as well and served with several different pairings of snacks. It was great that they offered free shipping to USA on a case or more. The only downside of the trip that we had is that since we decided to order some wine, we didn’t have time to look around town more or climb to the top to look at what we heard were some incredible views. It would have been great to have a little more time for viewing. Either the tour company giving 30 minutes more or working with the winery to reduce the amount of showing around their caves before the wine tasting.

Quite good - Simona was a lovely host and guide. The wine offering in Moltalcino was disappointing to my taste and did not correspond with the balance of the day.
