Excellent from start to finish - Great tour. Exactly as described with clear WhatsApp messages on the day confirming meeting point, ID required and tickets for the corridor add on. Ivano was an excellent guide getting us in smoothly with effective head sets and delivering interesting details with great knowledge throughout the morning. The tour ended with us being dropped off to join the Vasari corridor walk over to Pitti Palace. Really great start to the day, thank you.

Great Uffizi Experience - This guided tour made the museum visit so much more meaningful! Wandering on my own would have been just way too overwhelming. Deborah, our guide was excellent and was able to explain everything. Her observations made this tour a much richer experience. She didn't take us through the Vasari Corridor; we were under the watchful eyes of Uffizi staff for that. The corridor itself is plain and unremarkable except for one section with a collection of Roman busts. It opens into a courtyard of Pitti Palace.

Duccio and the Uffizi great - Vasari Corridor not so much - Duccio was one of the best guides we’ve had - and we’ve traveled a great deal. He gave us perspective on the artworks and artist that transformed our understanding of the many beautiful and famous paintings and sculptures. Specifically, he helped us view paintings from different angles to uncover hidden characteristics such as movement and focus. He tailored his commentary to our experience and perspective which further enhanced our time in the museum. Conversely- after we left Duccio we went on to the Vasari Corridor. While the story surrounding its creation is interesting, the experience of walking through it is not worth the price of admission. It is mostly a simple hallway with some views of the Arno. There is a long section with antique statues. The walk is escorted but there is no commentary. It ends at the Boboli gardens and unfortunately on a rainy day we had to walk outside all the way back to the Uffizi to collect our umbrellas - note they don’t allow long umbrellas in the gallery.

Duccio was extremely... - Duccio was extremely knowledgeable. He hit the highlights of the Uffizi but also pointed out hidden gems we would have missed on our own. The Vasari Passage was kinda cool and offered unique views of the Ponte Vecchio and chapel, but not necessarily “worth it.”

Italy with our mothers our stop in Florence - Visiting the Uffizi with Michele was an incredible tour! The cooridor was neat to do, but going through the gallery with him was the highlight of our day! I highly recommend his tour!

Very good experience - The tour of the Uffizi gallery was very interesting and educational. Our guide, Francesca, was very knowledgeable and taught us much about the development of art over the relevant period. The visit to the Vasari Corridor was disappointing because there was little to see and the Uffizi guide provided little information.

Difficulty getting to see the UFIZZI/ disorganized scheduling - The tour was supposed to be at 9am and we were supposed to be there at 8:45. The morning of the tour, an hour before , while we were eating breakfast and not looking at our phones, they sent a text changing the tour to 8:30. We almost missed it. My son was walking around early trying to kill time that we thought we had. I just happy to hear a guy calling out names and he started walking away. I called my son and he ran and caught up with us. We had a prior bad experience with the same exact tour. We signed up and paid for a 1pm tour on NEW YEAR’s day. We structured our day around it and we were excited to see the UFIZZI on our last day in Florence. When we got there we found out the tour was cancelled due to New Year’s Day as the museum was closed. We had to pay to stay another night in Florence in order to see it. They should know when the museum is open and not book tours on that day as it altered our plans and cost us money and time. The tour guide Ducho was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job, however, you had to keep an eye on him as he walked quickly and was easy to lose in the crowd.

Tour didn’t meet expectations - disappointed (and maybe skip Vasari Corridor - not worth it) - Booked through Viator and disappointed with arrangements. All of our other tours booked through Viator have been excellent. This tour was run by “Walks in Town,” a Florence-based tour provider. Tour guide was good, leading us to most prescribed highlights and describing role of Medici family members. We booked ahead of time for option that included Vasari Corridor (3-hour tour), 9am departure. In the middle of the night before tour (after midnight) we received text changing time and location of tour beginning. Now 9:30am a couple of blocks away from original departure location. So we actually arrived at museum about 9:47am. The rub was that our Vasari Corridor tickets were for 11:35am, unchanged from original time. Our guide showed us how to find corridor entrance, then left us at 11am. So we had about 30 minutes on our own instead of with guide. There is no guide (and not much to see) on Vasari Corridor - just a very long hallway from Uffizi, across Ponte Vecchio, to Pitti Palace on other side of Arno River. There are many marble busts of ancient Roman-era people in the corridor. You cannot return to the Uffizi without having another ticket to get in — once you go into the corridor, you have left the Uffizi. Our sense: Vasari Corridor option might not be worth your time and $$ unless you want to be at Pitti Palace / Boboli Gardens (where you have to pay to enter). We definitely did not get a 3-hour tour because of the late start - more like 2.5 hours. Had we not chosen the Vasari, we could have stayed in the Uffizi at the end of our scheduled tour time to explore on our own.
