Relaxing and interesting experience - John did an excellent job of explaining what our options were at every location and kept everything running very smoothly. We did not waste time waiting for others and felt relaxed in everything we did.

Amazing private tour of Siena, San Gimignano, Siena & Monteriggioni - I missed the bus and was upgraded at extra cost to a private vehicle. This greatly improved the experience and I feel I would choose future tours with this is mind.

A must do trip if you want to experience Tuscany - Our tour leader was very efficient and very informative. The driver did a great job driving to the three cities and got us there own time. The sites were absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed the history of the area.

Must see locations - The 4 locations visited were well worth all the driving and a long day. The lunch and wine tasting was great and Siena and San Gimignano are must see locations.

Wine tasting experience - We had a wonderful time at Vineyard & Cellar Winery. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through a variety of wines. The scenic views and cozy atmosphere of Siena and San Gimigniano made it a perfect day. Highly recommend for wine lovers and casual tasters alike!

More time in Pisa - Would have like to spend more time in Pisa. Was wiling to exclude one of the sites to be able to spend more time in Pisa in order to enter the church and climb the bell tower.

Good day out - The large group tour does as well as it can given its catering for 75-80 people. We were originally booked on the small group version but sadly it didn’t run. It’s a long day but you get to see a lot. Alex was a fantastic guide & shared information & updates in a really engaging manner, staying high energy all day & answering a myriad of questions with excellent info. If you only have a day you’ll get a great taste of Tuscany on this trip.

I do jot recommend Ciao Florence Tours - I do not recommend Ciao Florence Tours. I booked a semi-private tour and received confirmation that it would proceed the following day. Less than 12 hours before the scheduled start, I was informed the tour was cancelled due to "logistical issues. But can offer same tour in large variation." In reality, the tour was cancelled because another couple had not booked, and the company chose not to proceed with the semi-private option. When I asked about the larger group tour, I was told there was a price difference and that I would be refunded the next day (the day of the tour). After explaining I had paid in US dollars, I was asked "So would you like to cancel & be refunded?" I agreed in good faith, relying on the information provided. At 7:34 AM the day of the tour, I requested proof of the refund and was told "yes, of course." By 5:47 PM, with the tour almost concluded, I followed up again. I was then told "so tomorrow we are going to start the refund process but it takes from 6 - 8 working days, you won't receve anything in this time frame please contact us again." So I have ti yet again follow up on the refund. This directly contradicted what I had been told the day before. Had I known this, I would not have proceeded. The payment had already been taken, and I only agreed to the change based on their assurances. If the service could not be delivered, it should never have been offered. Expecting customers to wait 6–8 business days for a refund in these circumstances is unacceptable. I requested the refund be processed immediately. Instead of resolving the issue, my messages were ignored and I was asked to leave feedback. When I explained the urgency of the refund and stated that failure to process it would leave me no choice but to leave a negative review, I received the response "if you plan to stay in Florence more than just a day, book again & get 20% off." I requested the refund again and have since received no response and no refund. The tour itself runs for 11.5 hours, yet food and drinks are not allowed on the bus. Rather than managing waste sensibly, the focus appears to be on maximising profit. This includes cancelling a more expensive semi-private tour, pushing customers into a much larger group of nearly 60 people, and keeping the price difference. You often hear warnings about pickpockets in Florence. Experiences like this are no better. Extremely disappointing.
