Palazzo Pitti, which briefly served as the dwelling for the King of Italy in the late 18th century, houses an impressive assortment of paintings, sculptures, porcelain pieces, and costumes. Apart from its strikingly decorated historical interior, it also offers an extension to the Boboli Gardens – one of Italy’s earliest gardens, renowned for its fountains and grottoes. This verdant oasis within Florence can be viewed as an open-air museum, abundant in history, art, tales, hidden spots, and captivating pathways.
