• Piazza del Duomo - The guide will collect guests from their hotel, apartment, or B&B in Florence. The tour’s starting point is determined by the accommodation’s location. For Shore Excursions, pick-up will occur at the port. One of the initial stops may be Piazza del Duomo, featuring the octagonal Baptistery with Ghiberti’s renowned bronze doors. Alongside Giotto’s Bell Tower and the grand Cathedral, they form a remarkable architectural ensemble. The octagonal dome is a brilliant creation by Filippo Brunelleschi. (visits from outside)
• Florence - This experience includes a food tour! The guide will lead guests through a culinary journey tailored to their preferences, aiming to reveal the authentic Florentine atmosphere and culture.
• Galleria dell’Accademia - TICKETS ON REQUEST ARE NOT INCLUDED. The Accademia showcases significant collections of Gothic Florentine art and musical instruments. The museum’s highlight is Michelangelo’s works, with his David being the most notable. Other masterpieces by artists from 1200 to 1500, such as Giotto and Perugino, make this Gallery a must-visit.

NOTE: Upon request and availability, the Uffizi can be booked.

On Mondays, all museums are closed, and the best alternative is Palazzo Vecchio. This 14th-century fortress-like palace was once the Medici family’s residence. Today, it serves as the municipality’s seat and houses a renowned museum featuring works by Michelangelo Buonarroti, Donatello, and Verrocchio.

• Ponte Vecchio - Florence’s romantic side is showcased in the stunning views over the Arno River, visible en route to the charming Ponte Vecchio bridge. There are numerous antique and jewelry shops.
• Piazza della Signoria - The main square in Florence is Piazza della Signoria. Here, beside the Neptune Fountain, visitors will also find the magnificent Loggia dei Lanzi, a 14th-century arcade adorned with exceptional statues. In front of the impressive Palazzo Vecchio stands a replica of Michelangelo’s world-famous David.
• Piazzale Michelangelo - Before or after the Pisa tour, the driver will take guests to this renowned neoclassical terrace dedicated to the artist, offering a breathtaking view of the city.
• Piazza dei Miracoli - Pisa Leaning Tower and the Field of Miracles: After lunch (the food tour is included in the package), the driver will take guests to Pisa to see the iconic Leaning Tower, where Galileo conducted his gravity experiments.
• TOUR FROM FLORENCE allows sufficient time to ascend the Leaning Tower. Please request tickets if interested.
• LIVORNO SHOREX allows enough time to climb the Leaning Tower, reducing time in Florence. Please request tickets if interested.
• LA SPEZIA SHOREX does not allow enough time to climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa. However, guests will still have the opportunity to admire it from the outside.

Cathedral:
Not only do the bronze doors impress, but the west façade also holds surprises. Inside, the Cathedral houses magnificent works of art.
Note that a guide is not included in Pisa and is available upon request.

At the end of the tour, the driver will return guests to their location (hotel, B&B, apartment, La Spezia, or Livorno port).

• Your chauffeur will retrieve you from your accommodation/Cruise pier to unearth the splendor of Renaissance Florence.
• Traverse opulently in a plush Mercedes towards Pisa.

You’ll return to your accommodation well before evening/just in time for your boarding.

Note: Reservations for the tower of Pisa and museums in Florence must be made considerably upfront. The Accademia, Uffizi, and Palazzo Pitti are closed on Mondays. Instead, you’ll explore the equally treasured Palazzo Vecchio.

• For your tour, we selected the Accademia Galery. (Tickets are not included and must be requested at the moment of the booking; see “what to expect” section). Visiting the the Uffizi is possible, booking in large advance. Depending on availability and according to your requests, we will program and book the museum you prefer to visit. As an alternative you will explore other sites with your guide.
• Leaning Tower of Pisa tickets must be booked in large advance. Furthermore, the tower has a 297 step spiral staircase leading to the top, and is not recommended for visitors with back or heart problems and pregnant women. For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 are not permitted to enter. An adult must accompany under 18s. Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower.
• Inside all sites, handbags/bags/luggage are not allowed. Only small bags or backpacks will be accepted, with a max size of 20x30x38 cm.
• Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower to your visit, specifing the age of participants.
• Please provide any mobility or wheelchair access and diet requirements, together with the age of children.
