• Piazza del Duomo - The guide will collect guests from their hotel, apartment, or B&B in Florence. The tour’s starting point will be determined by the accommodation’s location. For Shore Excursions, pick-up will occur at the port.

Visitors will explore Piazza del Duomo, which features the octagonal Baptistery renowned for Ghiberti’s bronze doors. Alongside Giotto’s Bell Tower and the majestic Cathedral, they form a remarkable architectural trio. The octagonal dome is a brilliant creation by Filippo Brunelleschi. (visits from outside)

• Florence - During the walking tour, the guide will provide local delicacies based on guests’ preferences. Here are some examples; however, sampling all typical products in just one hour is not feasible.
  • Pecorino Toscano – A firm sheep’s milk cheese, available aged or fresh.
  • Panino al Lampredotto - A sandwich featuring cow’s fourth stomach cooked in seasoned broth.
  • Finocchiona – A soft salami infused with fennel seeds.
  • Prosciutto Toscano – A dry-cured ham, more flavorful than Parma prosciutto.
  • Prosciutto di Cinghiale – Dry-cured boar meat.
  • Lardo di Colonnata – A smooth, cured fatback aged in marble basins with herbs.
  • Schiacciata – Tuscan flatbread, often served with olive oil or stuffed.

• Ponte Vecchio - Florence’s romantic charm is evident in the stunning views over the Arno River, visible en route to the charming Ponte Vecchio Bridge, which is lined with antique and jewelry shops.

• Piazza della Signoria - The main square in Florence is Piazza della Signoria. Near the Neptune Fountain, visitors will also admire the magnificent Loggia dei Lanzi, a 14th-century arcade adorned with exceptional statues. In front of the grand Palazzo Vecchio stands a replica of Michelangelo’s world-renowned David.

• Piazzale Michelangelo - Before traveling to Pisa, the private driver will take guests to Michelangelo Terrace, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of Florence.

• Piazza dei Miracoli - The driver will escort guests to the Field of Miracles in Pisa, where they will have one and a half hours of free time to ascend the famous Leaning Tower, where Galileo conducted his gravity experiments. The Cathedral and the entire complex are unique worldwide. The timing includes a round trip to Pisa (inquire about tickets to the Leaning Tower if interested).

• Your chauffeur will retrieve you from your accommodation/Cruise pier to unearth the splendor of Renaissance Florence.
• Traverse opulently in a plush Mercedes towards Pisa.
• Ascend the tilted tower and bask in the grandeur of the Fields of Miracles.

You’ll return to your accommodation well before evening/just in time for your boarding.

Note: Reservations for the tower of Pisa and museums in Florence must be made considerably upfront. The Accademia, Uffizi, and Palazzo Pitti are closed on Mondays. Instead, you’ll explore the equally treasured Palazzo Vecchio.

• For your tour, we selected the Accademia Galery. (Tickets are not included and must be requested at the moment of the booking; see “what to expect” section). Visiting the the Uffizi is possible, booking in large advance. Depending on availability and according to your requests, we will program and book the museum you prefer to visit. As an alternative you will explore other sites with your guide.
• Leaning Tower of Pisa tickets must be booked in large advance. Furthermore, the tower has a 297 step spiral staircase leading to the top, and is not recommended for visitors with back or heart problems and pregnant women. For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 are not permitted to enter. An adult must accompany under 18s. Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower.
• Inside all sites, handbags/bags/luggage are not allowed. Only small bags or backpacks will be accepted, with a max size of 20x30x38 cm.
• Kindly confirm you wish to include the Leaning Tower to your visit, specifing the age of participants.
