• Riccio - At this family-owned winery located at the foot of the Cortona hills, you will delve into the art of winemaking. Established in the early 1900s on the hills between Cortona and Montepulciano, the farm offers views of Lake Trasimeno and Mount Amiata from its heart at 360 meters above sea level. You will explore the entire estate, tour the vineyards and wine cellars, and learn about the Cortona wine production process. Poggio Sorbello has a long tradition of cultivating cereals and legumes typical of the region, including over 15 varieties such as Fagiolo Zolfino, Fagiolina del Trasimeno, and Fagiolo Etrusco. The farm also grows Saffron and Aglione, known as “Garlic of lovers,” and produces excellent wildflower honey from hives in the woods.
