• Florence - Guests will be picked up from their accommodation in Florence at 7am. The driver typically arrives at 6:45am. The journey to La Spezia train station will take about 2 hours.
• La Spezia - The direct drive from Florence by private transport concludes in La Spezia. Guests will board a train at La Spezia Station heading to Cinque Terre. Based on time, weather, and other factors, the experienced guide will determine the order of village visits.
• Riomaggiore - The southernmost of the five villages is Riomaggiore, named after the major river that once flowed through the town. Riomaggiore is renowned for its small harbor, tall, colorful houses, and vibrant fishing boats.
• Manarola - Heading north, Manarola is next. Its name derives from a large wheel (Magna Rota) that powered the village mill. Manarola is known for its narrow alleyways leading up into the terraces behind the colorful harbor houses.
• Corniglia - Corniglia, named after the Roman family Gens Cornelia, is the smallest of the five villages, situated 100 meters above sea level. To reach Corniglia, visitors can climb the Lardarina, a 383-step path from the train station to the village, or take one of the regular buses.
• Vernazza - Vernazza is unique in Cinque Terre for its small port, allowing ships to dock in the sheltered bay. Visitors can explore the beautiful church of Santa Margherita in the main square or visit the Tower of Castello Dorio, offering stunning views of Cinque Terre.
  Lunch will be organized by the guide and served between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, featuring local seafood dishes, fresh pasta, and a glass or two of local wine.
• Monterosso al Mare - The fourth village to visit is Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five coastal villages. It is located on hills cultivated with lemons, vines, and olives. From here, guests will enjoy a scenic boat ride to the next village, Riomaggiore.
• La Spezia - After visiting all five lands, guests will take a short ride back to La Spezia train station. Depending on time, weather, and other factors, the guide may arrange a boat trip between two of the villages, offering breathtaking views of the five lands from the Ligurian Sea. Please note, boats may not operate on rare occasions due to sea conditions.
• Florence - The guide will return guests to their original pickup location. With prior notice, guides can drop clients at other locations.

Between the villages you will enjoy scenic train rides along the Ligurian coastline. A relaxing boat ride is also included between 2 of the villages so you can enjoy stunning views of the Cinque Terre from the water. Wander the narrow streets, admire the colourful houses or take the chance to swim in the turquoise water.

A multi-course lunch paired with the aromatic, mineral wine of Cinque Terre will be served in a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Cinque Terre remains Italy’s most difficult area to cultivate due to unfriendly environmental conditions.
