- Parco Nazionale Cinque Terre - The Cinque Terre consists of five picturesque coastal villages in eastern Liguria, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. A train conveniently connects these charming villages. Opting for a small group tour, limited to 8 participants, is an ideal way to minimize expenses while exploring numerous destinations without the constraints of a large 54-seat bus. The driver will accompany the group throughout the day, assisting on both the boat and train. Public boats operate from April until approximately the third week of October, weather permitting, along the Cinque Terre.
- Borgo Storico di Riomaggiore - Arrive in Riomaggiore via a sleek black Mercedes Minivan. The town ascends along ridges overlooking the sea, featuring typical stone houses with colorful façades and slate roofs. From Riomaggiore, take a public boat to Manarola, subject to weather conditions, available from April until about the third week of October. For those interested in hiking, Trail 531 from Riomaggiore to Manarola is an option. The driver will accompany the group by boat.

Follow the path through vegetable gardens to a small bridge, leading to a long staircase through cultivated and fallow fields, offering panoramic views to the ridge of Costa Corniolo. From there, admire Montenero to the east, Manarola, and the Cinque Terre coastline to the west.
The descent to Manarola begins on the left from Costa Corniolo, with an ancient staircase offering spectacular views down to the village. - Borgo Storico di Manarola - Manarola is possibly the oldest town in the Cinque Terre, with the church of San Lorenzo dating back to 1338. The local dialect, Manarolese, slightly differs from nearby dialects. “Manarola” likely evolved from the Latin “magna rota,” which became “magna roea” in Manarolese, meaning “large wheel,” referencing the town’s mill wheel. Then, take a train from Manarola to Vernazza.
-
Vernazza - Vernazza is the only natural harbor among the five villages and is the wealthiest, boasting elaborate architecture. Visit the Castle of the Doria, explore the watchtowers, and don’t miss the Romanesque sanctuary of Our Lady of Reggio. Its simplicity is captivating, yet its architecture is fascinating. In Vernazza, enjoy a refreshing swim, a nice shower, and a delightful lunch featuring authentic Pesto Pasta and fresh Mediterranean seafood (not included in the price).
Take a train from Vernazza back to Riomaggiore, then return to the Black Mercedes minivan for the journey to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower. - Piazza dei Miracoli - Proceed to Pisa. Enjoy free time to admire the Leaning Tower and explore Piazza dei Miracoli, home to other renowned monuments: Pisa Baptistery and Pisa Duomo. During the hour-long visit, discover Piazza dei Cavalieri, home to the historic Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. The tour reaches the Pisa tower around 16:30. Viewing it from the outside is usually sufficient, as it is stunning. However, if you wish to climb it, reserve tickets for 16:45. Entrance tickets to the Leaning Tower are not included. Return to the black Mercedes Minivan for the journey to Florence.
