Nestled within a stunning coastal setting, the Cinque Terre offers a picturesque view of pastel-colored houses, narrow cobblestone streets, quaint harbors, and terraces adorned with vineyards, olive, and lemon trees. Begin the journey early in the morning, departing from Florence by bus to arrive at Manarola, the first stop. Continue to Vernazza, Monterosso, and Riomaggiore using local trains and boats. Prepare for an unforgettable day in this genuine earthly paradise. The tour is limited to a maximum of 25 participants to ensure a more detailed and personal experience.
- Giving the particular nature of the area, the standard itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions, traffic, strikes, etc.
- The public boat service, along the Cinque Terre, runs from April to the 3rd week of October, subject to weather conditions
- When boats are not operative, connection between villages will be by train
- Due to the high volume of visitors and the nature of the area, during the high season the villages and the local train/boat, could be very crowded
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

A “Must See” Tour. Absolutely Stunning!!! - This was a fabulous tour! There were only six of us on the tour, which was great! The places we visited were absolutely stunning - a picture postcard everywhere you look! It is impossible to take a bad picture here!!
I would definitely recommend doing the Small-Group tour. I can’t imagine trying to get on and off the sometimes already crowded trains if in a large tour group! 😳
It’s a long, jammed-packed day, but SO worth it! The beauty everywhere is breathtaking!!
I would also recommend skipping the lunch that’s offered. It was good, but the three-course meal took up virtually all the time we had on that particular Terre. In hindsight, we would have preferred to grab a sandwich or pizza at a cafe, and have more time to explore the Terre.
One more note: This is a moderately strenuous tour. A couple of our tour group had a hard time keeping up with the group and opted to sit out a few of the sightseeing treks, which was totally fine to do. It was just quite a bit more strenuous than expected.

Argentinas in Cinque Terre - We had an amazing experience with Constantin, who accompanied us through Cinque Terre. Besides being very professional, he was friendly, fun and always attentive to the needs of the group!
Special mention for the driver, whose skill behind the wheel was admirable. It kept calm and safe on narrow and challenging roads, allowing us to travel comfortably and carefree.

Amazing day by train, walking and boat. Excellent guides Gabrielle, Constantino, and Super Mario... - You leave very early... but it was worth it. Beautiful places. You have to be prepared to climb long stairs or walkways but as I said it is worth visiting. They're postcards. Grace Gabrielle our guide in Spanish. Also to Constantino for his comments on the bus. And super Mario I think was going to a wedding after he leaves us in Florence hehe. Thank you for your driving, made the rides pleasant.

Great tour - It was great to be able to go with a small group of people because the towns were very crowded. Our guide was very informative and helped us make the most of our time in each of the towns. I felt like we had a good amount of time and each time to explore. I would definitely recommend this tour

Must do this small group! - What a wonderful tour group! Everything went smoothly, and I highly recommend this specific tour group in this small size. The company itself is very reachable (easy to call and confirm info etc) and very organized. The drive was comfortable with good AC. Emma was a phenomenal tour guide and everyone loved her! The time at Cinque Terre is really personalizable. The guide will give you options on how to self explore, and it’s very easy to navigate. Make sure to bring a bathing suit so you can get into the water! (I'd recommend not choosing the lunch if you’re 1-3 people. This company does a phenomenal job setting it up and it’s a good option for big groups. But if you’re not, it’s not worth it and the waitstaff isn’t the kindest).

Day Trip to Cinque Terre - Our tour was a small group of six. Guide (Anastasia) was extremely well organized, clear on her instructions on where to meet and kept us on time with all of the various train transfers. Weather was beautiful and the Cinque Terre villages are cute but sooooo many people there makes it difficult to get around and enjoy it thoroughly. Tour company was communicative and made it easy to know where to meet. Only criticism is that the add on lunch was quite pricey for what we got for lunch (40 Euro) - small caprese salad, plate of pasta with pesto, glass of white wine and small cup of custard. Probably could have found a less expensive lunch elsewhere but it was nice having that pre arranged and eating with some of the other people on the tour.

Nice excursion to Cinque Terre in a not so small group - It was a long day with an early start, but that was necessary to have the opportunity to get a taste of four of the five villages of Cinque Terre, especially in light of the large crowds still present on an overcast day in October. Our guide, John, was great, but our one complaint was that we signed up and paid for a “small group of no more than 12 people”, only to find that our group numbered 22 people and we traveled on a full size bus back and forth to Cinque Terre. This inevitably diluted our interactions with our guide and no doubt made his job more difficult herding a bigger group through the very crowded train stations of Cinque Terre, in addition to making the four plus hours of motor travel take longer than it would have in a smaller, more maneuverable van.

Worth seeing - The views are outstanding, just be aware there are a lot of steps so it is not suitable if you cannot walk up steps. The guide we had was very good, he gave tips on the best points for the views and gave advice on other places to see in Florence. My only advise would be for the guide to make themselves available during the free time as at times due to the language barrier he was hard to understand. It is not possible for the guide to walk with everyone as there were those with limitations with their physical ability and this would have impacted on all in the group.
Overall a very good tour.

Terrible tour! - This was a terrible tour. We could hardly understand the tour guide. Her English was terrible, and she did not explain what we were going to be doing. We booked and paid for a small tour, max 8 people and with a mini van. We got a tour of 19 people on a big bus. Lunch was terrible and we were seated next to the bathroom with long lines. The worst part was we were told we were getting a boat cruise. It turn out to be just a quick shuttle from one city to another. Our guide did not tell us we were supposed to get off the boat. We were almost left behind. I will never book a tour though CiaFlorence and will discourage anyone I speak to from signing up on a tour run through this company.

False advertising - dreadful - We booked the advertised tour for 12 people with lunch.
We ended up with 25 people in our tour, not enough time at each place - completely rushed and totally different to the advertised itinerary. lunch was dreadful and I mean dreadful. Save your money and simply get the train.
