• Bacchereto - Fattoria e Cantina di Bacchereto is situated on the hills of Carmignano, not far from Florence. This charming winery has been managed by the same family since 1920, preserving a significant historical heritage. Adding to its allure, Leonardo da Vinci’s grandmother resided here, making it a place where the artist spent his childhood. The winery uses entirely natural, biodynamic methods, as the vintners value the harmony between humans and nature. In addition to wine, they also produce olive oil. Visitors will enjoy a tour of the estate, including its vineyards and wine cellars, concluding with a tasting of wine and olive oil.
• Carmignano - Tenuta di Capezzana is a family-operated winery with a rich tradition. It is among the oldest Tuscan wineries, with wine production dating back to 804 AD, as evidenced by a lease contract from 1200 years ago. Historically, the estate has been known for cultivating olive trees and vines for oil and wine production. It features an impressive collection of vintages since 1925. Visitors will tour the property and sample award-winning wines. The family also takes pride in their cooking school and restaurant, which has hosted renowned chefs to enhance their culinary offerings.
