During the day:
• Before arriving in Montalcino, we’ll stop at a distinctive Brunello vineyard, where you’ll tour the cellars and see Brunello aging in oak barrels. You’ll taste a Rosso di Montalcino and a Brunello di Montalcino, and discuss the differences between these wines directly with a winemaker. (to be paid on spot)
• Then, you’ll visit the town of Montalcino, and we can decide whether you’d prefer to have lunch at a restaurant in town or head to another winery for a light lunch or a traditional Tuscan meal. (to be paid on spot)
• Next, we could visit the S.Antimo Abbey or Sant’Angelo, or have one last wine tasting at a winery before heading back home, or do both if time allows. (to be paid on spot)
• Upon request, we can arrange lunch in a cellar or organic farm for wine tastings or local foods. This is a highly recommended experience.
