Guide was difficult to hear. The guide we had last year was more interesting and informative. Yesterday's guide relied a lot on her tablet device but still didn't have answers "Oh I missed that meeting." Overall she was very nice and I realize they're all volunteers.
Kitty, our tour guide was so much fun. She was a wealth of knowledge and just a fun person. We all had a great time.
Our tour was amazing. Elena was our tour guide and her personal stories made the tour so much more intimate and interesting.
The tour guide were very knowledgeable and very nice
The house and grounds were beautiful. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful.
Very nice to visit. Great tour guide.
The house is extraordinary. It was so interesting to get a glimpse of their lives. Our guide was pleasant and informative. It was a wonderful experience.
We were very impressed with the knowledge of the tour guides, Jerry and his charming granddaughter Addy. They did a wonderful job of making the house come alive as a family home! A true gem in the city of Flint!
Everything was wonderful. However, our house tour guide could not answer many questions and seemed confused by the tablet she was using. She seemed forgetful. She was very nice but we wondered if we were missing things.
I really enjoyed the extended tour. The tour guide was very kind and receptive to our questions. Very knowledgeable of Flint/Mott history. I would really like it if more of the home was open for the tour. Making the appointment time online made this experience seamless and felt like my very own private tour. Love my Flint History!!
Growing up in the Flint area, I have always been curious about the house behind the fence and bushes. We were able to tour the main floor a couple of years ago, but I had heard about the bowling alley and wanted to see the bedrooms. Getting to tour the other two floors was great, and I had forgotten many things from the main floor tour before. Jerry, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He set a perfect pace for the tour. I never felt rushed but also never felt that we were spending too much time anywhere. Thank you for opening the doors up again for us to tour this beautiful home.
The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging and the whole tour was super enjoyable.
Very knowledgeable tour guide of a unique and beautiful home. A fascinating peak into an important part of Flint history.
It was neat! Looking forward to come when more flowers in bloom!
The I-pad showing additional images was very informative. The host, Sharon, gave a great presentation, while still keeping control over a wanderers. No, we don't know her, but we had great time. Mike and Sharon.
Our guide, George, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a great time!
I learned a lot of personal information about the Mott Foundation that had not realized. Our tour guide was very attentive to all of our questions and curiosities.
The tour was very interesting and we really enjoyed seeing everything. The homeade apple goodies were delicious! We plan on visiting the gardens in other seasons. My husband and I have lived here 40 years and have never been here.
Love history and being here and visiting with the volunteers was enlightening!!!! LOVED EVERY MOMENT!!!!! EXCITED TO RETURN AND BRING A PICNIC LUNCH TO ENJOY THE GARDENS!!!!!!! NO WORRIES WE WILL LEAVE NOTHING BEHIND AND NO MESSES TO SPOIL THE GROUNDS!!!!!! NICE TO HEAR MY HEART SINGING AGAIN!!!!!!
Very knowledgeable about the history.
Very nice check in service, good tour guide. Loved the history of the house and Mott family.

Great tour,very interesting information
I was amazed and it was very impressive and the history of it all do much I didn't lniw
Really enjoyed our tour of Applewood and hearing the history of the Mott Family. Our guide was wonderful and very friendly.
Although I had done this tour earlier this year our tour guide made this one extra special. She was very informed and we all thought she had been doing this for years because she knew so much. She had only been doing the tours since April. Obviously did a lot of homework. The tour was delightful even though this was the second time this year. We have guests from OK and could see the house through their eyes. I love this home and could live there comfortably. It is unique for its era.
Had a great time on our tours todays. We took both house tours and had wonderful, personable guides both times
Very interesting tour. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Carolyn did an excellent job of showing the rooms in the house. More importantly she gave us lots of history of C.S. and Ruth Mott and explained the importance of their contributions to our state and our community. It was an enjoyable experience.
We were in Flint for the Back to the Bricks event. While there we visited Applewood and from entering to leaving I was impressed with the friendliness, the warm welcome and the quality of the tour. I appreciated the story of the family and loved how clean and well looked after the estate is. Thank you for a wonderful tour, I bought the book which is lovely. I wish there had been more on offer to purchase as a memento of this lovely place. M. Ochoa
Tour was personalized , lots of facts given
I enjoyed the historical aspect of the tour. The tour guide was vert knowledgible. The home is beautiful. Thank you!
Our guide told us stories about Ruth & CS that helped us "know" of their character. Talked about furnishings, silver trophies, dining, kitchen & staff...all fascinating information. She made our experience memorable. We will return soon.
The lady tour guide made the tour very interesting. She had a lot of facts about the family. It was interesting to see how they lived.
