A Wonderful Personal Connection and a Life-Changing Experience - We decided to enlist the help of Roni, the CEO of Lapland Explorers and his Premier Guide Janne (aka Johnny-Bear) to take us on a private expedition to see, explore and photograph the Northern Lights. While a bit more costly to do it privately, I want to say up front,DO THIS!!!, you will not remember the cost, but the amazing experience will remain with you lifelong. We developed a connection with Janne, and hope one day to be invited to his wedding. The care, diligence and knowledge Janne possessed along with his tailoring things to our son's needs as well, and his impeccable kindness created absolute magic for our family. Without exaggeration, on a scale of 1-5, this was a TWELVE!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Janne and Roni. We will always remember this experience you worked so hard to give us!

Aurora borealis - I am absolutely sure that this tour has been the best decision that my husband and I could have made, our guide JANNE was very friendly and fun with us, took some spectacular photos and gave us hot drink and cookies, a memory that we will never forget and that was also the best because with temperature of -32 degrees Celsius it was almost impossible to take out our cameras, so we are more than grateful because our guide did everything spectacular

Chasing the Northern Lights and Capturing the Magic! - We joined the Guaranteed Northern Lights Tour with Local Guides and Photos (small group tour) on December 20, and it well and truly exceeded all our expectations.
Our guide Vito was outstanding. From the outset, he was enthusiastic, friendly, and deeply committed to making sure we saw the Northern Lights.
He constantly monitored conditions, explained what was happening, guided the other local guides following him and took lots of photos with everyone, which we are eagerly awaiting.
In one night, we drove from Finland up into Sweden, and then all the way back to Finland again—an epic journey that totalled around 9½ hours on the road. Despite the long drive, Vito’s energy never flagged. Even at the very end, as he dropped everyone off to their accommodation around 5am, he was still smiling, upbeat, and genuinely happy that we had seen them.
Seeing them appear gradually and then light up the sky was indescribable.
This tour truly delivers on its promise and really goes above and beyond. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough. A truly incredible, once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent experience - The experience was absolutely amazing. Ronni, Jessi, Vito and Emmi made every experience unforgettable. They are very honest about the chances of observing auroras and are really hunters, they move constantly so that if or if you live the experience. In addition Emmi made us an amazing painting workshop that we enjoyed a lot.
1000% recommended.

An unforgettable night of Aurora Hunting - I had the most wonderful aurora hunting experience and I’m extremely happy with how everything went. Our guide, Vitto (sorry if I’ve spelled your name differently, Vitor?), was absolutely exceptional. He was thoughtful, kind, and incredibly skilled at what he does.
The tour happened on a particularly hard day. It was rainy and cloudy in Rovaniemi, so we drove all the way to Sweden in search of clear skies. Because we had to drive so far, the entire experience lasted about eleven hours, but not for a moment did I feel rushed. Vitto was patient, calm, and fully committed to giving us the best chance of seeing the auroras.
He didn’t just hunt auroras for us. He explained the science behind the auroras in a way that was fascinating and easy to follow, helped with night-time photography like a true expert, and even pointed out constellations along the way. His driving skills were remarkable too. On our way back the roads were covered in ice, but he handled every terrain with steady confidence and made sure we were safe at all times.
What stood out the most was his uncommon kindness. He genuinely cared about everyone in the group and created such a warm, positive atmosphere throughout the night. I loved the experience so much that I even tried booking it again during my stay in Rovaniemi, but sadly the weather didn’t allow it.
Vitto if you are reading this - Thankyou! You truly made the night unforgettable.

Excellent experience, beautiful Northern Lights. - I traveled from Chile and found it an excellent experience, the guys in the company have a very good disposition and do everything possible to find the beautiful Northern Lights. I went 2 nights and both were spectacular. HIGHLY recommended. Thanks Roni, Jesse and Vito! I would definitely repeat with you again!:)

No limits and guarantees: they have done BINGO! - We chose this activity to be sure to see the Northern Lights, but it is not obvious, it is still an activity of nature. Yet Daniel, our guide, went as far as the borders of Sweden to show us one of the most beautiful and powerful auroras that has been dubbed the BOMB!
He was an exemplary guide in everything: punctuality, guidance, commitment, and availability.
When, after 2 hours on the road, we managed to find a good spot, he took a lot of pictures of us and, despite the freezing cold (it was -26 degrees and we could all feel it), he kept inviting us to take more pictures and take advantage of one of the strongest and most beautiful auroras!
The package says: no time limit, no mileage limit and guarantee to see the aurora. I think they respected very well every single word of their announcement!
We were all delighted with the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially in this formula!

Unreal Experience - This experience was amazing. Our tour guide, Janne, looked after us so well and kept us updated throughout the afternoon regarding departure time and throughout the tour. He found the perfect spot and took incredible photos of us - he really knew all the best angles and spots. He was super friendly and made the experience incredible. We also had some yummy hot juice and cookies! I would recommend this experience to everyone!

Amazing team and unforgettable northern lights experience! - It was a truly unique experience! From the moment we arrived at the office, Jesse and his team were incredibly kind they explained everything clearly, showed us the aurora forecast, and were very honest with us from the start.
We were a group of 14 women, and they really went above and beyond!
Our guides, Dani and Vitto, were super friendly and had an amazing attitude! they took us to beautiful spots to chase the northern lights and made the whole experience unforgettable.
So grateful for this wonderful adventure with them!
I totally recommend doing this Northern Lights experience with them! And of course I’m going to come back to Rovaniemi and book this experience with them too thank you very much for the good disposition all the time!
