Must see tour for golf fans - Mark is a great golf historian and story teller. His many years as a caddy at the Old Course give him first hand knowledge. You will learn things you never new about the course, it's history and the game itself. We took the bus up to St. Andrew's from Edinburgh just to see this tour and it was worth the trip. There is some spectacular scenery on the way there and the course in person cannot be captured on a golf telecast. Lunch at the Old Course Hotel overlooking the 17th fairway was an added bonus.

Windy, windy! - The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the Old Course at St Andrews. Despite dreadful weather, he persevered and made sure we saw highlights of the course. Our guide however, talked very, very fast, and that, as well as the amazing wind, made it difficult to understand his narrative.
