Best experience ever!!😃❄️🇮🇸 - Absolutely amazing experience! We met Paula and Marku on arrival. Initially we booked a shared snowmobile experience, however when we got there, we were the only ones booked for the day. Marku (the guide) suggested we upgrade to a snowmobile each, to better enjoy the experience. We are so glad to have done so! After a short teaching session with Marku, we were geared up in warm clothing and ready to go. We did a practice round on site before departing to the route. With Marku at the front giving us clear directions we enjoyed a 4h drive along frozen lakes and trails within snowy forests. Absolutely stunning views all the way. We had breaks along the way allowing for video and photo opportunities. Marku expertise was impressive and reassuring. He made sure to check in frequently and adapted the experience to our skill level. The heated steering handles were amazing to keep us warm, and you could titrate the temperature yourself. At the end of the day they shared a photo album of the experience. Both Marku and Paula were super friendly and knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone an would definitely come back :D

An unforgettable experience. - Our snowmobile tour, with Marco as our guide, was fabulous from start to finish. The equipment was first class and we certainly appreciated the heated controls and clothing provided to combat the extreme cold! Unbelievably beautiful scenery through forests and across frozen lakes. It was a first for us so being part of a small group of 4 was perfect. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. I would recommend having a snowmobile each, if you can. I took this decision at the last minute and was so glad that I did.

Beautiful trip run by great people! - Brilliant experience run by lovely people. Did the trip with 2 young kids and everyone loved it. A small family-owned business - Thomas is a great guide giving clear instructions and support. Paula gives a warm and kind welcome and gets you get kitted-out. A beautiful and highly recommended trip into Lapland forests and wilderness.

Great snowmobile experience with PolarMax - An absolutely fantastic snowmobile experience with PolarMax from start to finish. I was part of a very small group which made the tour feel personal and well organized. PolarMax keeps the groups intentionally small, so you’re not stuck riding in large, slow-moving groups of riders and can truly enjoy the experience. My guide, Tomas, was extremely friendly, helpful and highly professional with great attention to both safety and the overall experience. The winter clothing provided was high quality, the snowmobiles were new and in excellent condition and everything felt very well managed. The surroundings were truly stunning—about 20 minutes outside Rovaniemi, riding through beautiful forests, across a frozen lake and along a river. An unforgettable adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

A five-star experience - A big thank you to Marco and the entire PolarMax team for turning our snowmobile outing into a truly memorable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. PolarMax provides all the gear, and it makes a real difference. We stayed warm the entire time, which allowed us to fully enjoy the ride without distraction. The introduction to riding a snowmobile was short, clear, and efficient, with a brief test ride to make sure everyone was comfortable before heading out. Then came a three-hour ride through stunning Finnish landscapes: frozen rivers and lakes, narrow tracks full of turns, and wide open trails to enjoy the speed and the scenery. A great balance between fun, variety, and discovery. Marco was an excellent guide, adapting the pace to our comfort level and checking in regularly to make sure everyone was enjoying the experience. We saw an incredible variety of landscapes, all of which will remain vivid memories of our trip to Finland. A flawless experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent and professional Snowmobile Tour over 6 hours - PolarMax is by far the most professional provider of snowmobile tours that I have booked with in Finland and Norway to date. It starts with a detailed theoretical briefing, during which all the details are explained clearly. The professionalism continues with the equipment and snowmobiles: each guest is advised and equipped individually. As a glasses wearer, I was given heated ski goggles and a flip-up helmet with a heated visor. During our visit, temperatures were below -30 degrees Celsius. Great care was taken during the consultation and the ride. The snowmobiles are as good as new and have heated seats and heated handles for the passenger as special features, a unique selling point of great value! Before the actual tour, there are tips on how to handle the snowmobile and test laps are carried out to get to know the vehicle, only then does the tour begin. PolarMax is a small, highly specialized family run company with Marko as the owner and Thomas as the second guide. Both train snowmobile pilots and know what they are doing. In addition, both are from the area and know the tracks and their dangers very well. This meant that our 6-hour tour was bound to be a unique success, with riding in small groups. Marko was a wonderful guide and gave us a wonderful, unforgettable day on the tracks through the forests and across snow-covered lakes and rivers – thank you so much! Highly recommended.
