Great day out - We had a lovely time with the kids here, the snow was melting so some of the activities were closed but the staff were really understanding about our frustration with that and Rita in particular was so helpful and attentive, Rita went out of her way to find us inflatable tubes for sledging and we received complimentary hot chocolates for everyone all day. Plus the 3 x kids got to try the snow mobiles complimentary too. The staff here are so nice and accommodating. The buffet was fantastic too. Overall we had a great experience here. Lots to do.

Amazing winter adventure - We stayed at the park for the entire week in February, and I can honestly say that our experience exceeded all expectations. The chalet was beautiful, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed — a comfortable double bed, a sofa, a small kitchen, and a lovely bathroom. One of the most magical moments was being able to watch the aurora right from our bed! The buffet for breakfast and lunch was absolutely delicious, with a different selection of dishes available each day, which kept the meals varied and exciting. We also joined the 1-hour snowmobile safari and the husky sled ride — both experiences were incredible. The only downside was that they felt a bit too short because we enjoyed them so much and would have loved them to last longer. The staff, both at the activity center and at reception, were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We also really appreciated that the area pass was included in our stay, allowing us to feed the reindeer, use the ice rink, cross-country skis, and the toboggan hill whenever we wanted. Another lovely feature was the small kota huts, where we could warm up and grill marshmallows or sausages. The only minor remark would be that it can get a bit crowded around noon, but it becomes much more relaxed and enjoyable in the afternoon. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable stay.

Fun-Filled Winter Experience for All Ages - We had a great time at Lapland Winter Park. It’s a well-organised and enjoyable spot, especially if you’d like a proper taste of Arctic fun without venturing too far from town. The snow activities were simple but genuinely entertaining, and the setting feels magical, particularly in the evening lights. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, making the whole experience smooth and relaxed. A lovely addition to any Lapland trip, whether with family or friends.

Fun filled day for every age! - We had an amazing day at WinterPark. We booked the family package that gave us access to the park, buffet lunch and a reindeer sleigh ride. The reindeer ride was a little bit depressing.....the reindeer all looked miserable and they were all chained together in a line for the walk around so I wouldn't recommend that. The other activities were great though. Ice skating, snow shoeing, alpine skiing and a big sledding hill all free to use as much as you want. There were mini snowmobiles (at an extra cost) that the kids could drive themselves. We also tried the ice karting. This was a fun activity however we were on a temporary track which was a lot smaller than the main one so it got quite boring going round and round the same circle for 30mins. This was a shame as it wasn't highlighted that it was a temporary track when we booked so I would check this before booking and maybe wait to book on the day rather than in advance. The buffet lunch was fab, something for everyone and very tasty.

Lapland Winter Park - Day Visit and Buffet - Our initial impressions of Lapland Winter Park were unfortunately quite poor, largely due to the arrival process. We used the complimentary shuttle service, which arrived at the same time as a number of private transfers. Reception staff were clearly overwhelmed and unable to process everyone quickly, leaving guests — including families with young children — standing outside in around -20°C temperatures while an icy gale was blowing for over half an hour. This was far from an ideal welcome. Thankfully, once we were finally inside, the experience improved hugely. Our children (aged 9 and 6) absolutely loved the range of activities on offer. Sledging, ice skating, snowmobiling, and playing ice hockey, as well as regular hockey and football in the snow, kept them entertained all day. Meeting the reindeer was also a really lovely experience and a memorable highlight for the whole family. We did try cross-country skiing, but this was poorly managed. There was a clear lack of available skis and no organised queuing system, which made the area feel chaotic and frustrating compared to the otherwise well-run activities. The standout highlight for the adults was definitely the buffet meal — it was delicious, varied, and exactly what was needed after hours in the cold. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning winter scenery that really captures the magic of Lapland. We visited for the day before heading on to Levi for a ski holiday, and despite the difficult start, it proved to be a perfect introduction to our winter adventure.

Cute, maybe more appreciable with small children - We chose to visit this park to occupy half a free day in a group of four adults. We only used the activities included in the ticket such as cross-country skiing and skating. Cute kotas with a lit fire to warm up and toast marshmallows or sausages (purchased at the restaurant or there are those who brought from outside). Restaurant with buffet menu (about 30 euros) or a la carte. The staff was very friendly. Price a bit expensive for the offer.

RUN AWAY! - Sad to see that many people compliment this park because you can sled with reindeer and feed them. We went there precisely because the opinions on this park were very positive. When we arrived, we quickly noticed that the reindeer were being mistreated: they were each tied with a rope to a pole and had to wait for the customers to come for a sleigh ride. Animal welfare and respect were clearly not there. We were able to give them some food, they seemed hungry. It’s sad to see people still having fun being dragged 500m by exhausted reindeer. We were also disappointed to learn that we could not do ice skating, as the ice unfortunately did not allow it. Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are very small, and there is only one toboggan run, also small. When we went to get our equipment for each activity, the staff did not even help us get what we needed or put the skis and snowshoes on. There were six kids twiddling their thumbs, so we had to go and ask them to help us. For €69, it’s still expensive for what it is, because for all other activities, you have to pay an extra. The restaurant in the park offers a menu at 32 € per person. So we went to see the buffet before paying: at the meal, there were only potatoes, pasta and meatballs and for dessert wafers. It's up to you to judge if it's worth the price. So we went to eat somewhere else. We strongly advise against this park: it was a waste of time.

Don’t waste your money -awful - We are a family group of 4 adults. After a wonderful time in Finland we decided to visit on our last day. Absolutely awful. Fine for little kids but the slide is for toddlers, the skating pond is a puddle, the winter walk is very subpar in a land full of beautiful forests. A definite no go, complete waste of money for teenagers/ adults. No refund as the CEO can’t guarantee you will enjoy their experience place when you pass through the doors so has a policy to not allow refunds which I think says it all! Wish I could give it minus stars for a truly awful visit.
