DAY 1: FEZ / IFRANE / MIDELT / ERFOUD / MERZOUGA:
Fes - The journey kicks off with a pick-up from your Riad or Hotel at 8:00 am, marking the start of an exciting adventure.
Ifrane - One of the initial highlights is Ifrane City, often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. Following this, the tour continues to the eagerly awaited stop at “Azrou,” home to the Cedar Forest and thousands of monkeys.
Midelt - The drive proceeds with breathtaking panoramic views en route to Midelt, where a lunch break awaits. The journey continues through stunning forests, springs, rugged rock formations, and Berber villages as the path leads towards the Sahara Desert.
Erfoud - The drive includes several brief stops for photos and rest, featuring a spectacular panoramic view overlooking a vast oasis of palm trees.
Merzouga - Arriving in Merzouga around 17:00, your guide and camels will be ready to greet you. After a brief rest, embark on a camel trekking adventure across the sandy dunes of Erg-Chebbi, perfectly timed to catch the sunset. After an hour of trekking, head to the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent, freshen up, and prepare for dinner. Post-dinner, enjoy Saharan Folklore music by the campfire under the starry sky. End of the Day.
DAY 2: MERZOUGA / RISSANI / FEZ
Merzouga - Rise early to stroll over the sand dunes and witness the sunrise from just beyond the Algerian border, approximately 50 km from Merzouga. Enjoy breakfast and prepare for another camel ride back to the vehicle. (Sandboarding or Quad Biking can be requested for an additional fee.)
Rissani - Depart for Rissani to explore its historical monuments and vibrant souks on a brief tour.
Fes - The journey back to Fez includes several stops for lunch and rest. End of the Day.
