Wonderful mssemn workshop - The workshop was very nice. We were with 6 people in total. My group was with 4 and we made mssemn - maroccan dish that tastes a bit like pancake. Yasmine, her mom, her son and daughter were great and were very kind. They explained us what to do and we baked together. After the baking we ate the mssemn and also the cookies that the other 2 people made. Everything was delicious and we drank also mint tea. I can really recommend this class

We loved this sharing experience! - We wanted to take part in a cooking class to firstly learn how to cook a regional specialty but above all to experience a moment of sharing and we loved this experience! It was an evening reservation for the next day and they were very responsive! Yassine contacted me by Whatsapp to share the address and offer us a pick up/drop off service. We had the choice between learning to make msemen or pastries. For our part, we chose msemen. The address is clearly indicated on Google map and once we arrived in the right street, Yassine's brother came to meet us. We were welcomed home by his sister and his mother soon joined us. These two women are kind, generous and very good teachers. I'm not very talented but they accompanied and guided us with gentle care and humor. We loved chatting with the family throughout the class and ended up enjoying our msemen over a glass of tea and pastries. It was a good opportunity to learn how to make tea too! Bonus, the district is outside the medina and overlooks it, the view is very pretty. The same evening, Yassine shared the recipe with us via Whatsapp. We will sure try to do it again!

Learning to make msemen in Fez with a Moroccan family - We really enjoyed the baking course Making Msemen! Booked on Friday morning for the same afternoon. We were surprised that this course could take place on Friday, it is a holy day in Morocco. The second surprise was that we were the only two participants, so we got a private workshop. And the third surprise was the location. We thought we were going to a cooking studio, but we were actually welcomed at home by mother Maria and her daughter Btissam. In their beautiful and neat kitchen, Maria and Btissam taught us with great patience how to knead the Msemen dough properly and carefully. As a bonus we were also allowed to make cookies, ghriba. After the Msemen and cookies were baked, we were allowed to taste our baked goods and were served delicious tea with it. What lovely people we met! Thank you for this beautiful meeting. We had good and clear contact with Yassine, the son/brother of Maria and Btissam, via what's app about transport, the 'business side' and sending the recipes. Once again: shukran bezaf! Mirjam and Sjors from the Netherlands.
