Merzouga - The driver/guide will collect guests from their Fes accommodation at 8 a.m. Following breakfast, the journey heads south to Merzouga, passing through Midelt and Errachidia. The driver will share insights into the nation’s history and the Amazigh (Berber) heritage in North Africa. Travelers will pass through the Middle Atlas mountains and cedar forests on the way to Midelt. The first stop is in Ifrane, often referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland, a delightful ski resort, and Azrou, a key center for handicrafts, particularly cedar woodwork. Visitors will also explore Morocco’s largest cedar forest, renowned for its beauty, where they can photograph Barbarian apes. Continuing the journey to Midelt through the Middle Atlas, travelers can observe nomadic families and small Berber villages, with an opportunity to stop for lunch in Midelt. The adventure proceeds through the picturesque Ziz Valley, with stops for panoramic views.

Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Marrakech - The camel guide will wake guests early the next morning to witness what could be the most spectacular sunrise of their lives. Afterward, guests will ride camels back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. The journey then continues to Ouarzazate, passing through the Berber villages of Rissani, Alnif, and N’koube. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, visitors will explore the majestic Atlas Mountains. The route crosses the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n Tichka, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2260m, offering breathtaking views of valleys and mountains. The tour concludes in the evening in Marrakech, marking the end of the 3-day journey from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga.
