The journey then continues to Volubilis, where visitors can explore the 2000-year-old ruins and learn about the stories of this historic small city, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Moulay Idriss Zerhoun - After ample time at Volubilis, the tour proceeds to “Moulay Idriss Zerhoun,” the holy city where the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the founder of Fes, is located. Although non-Muslims cannot enter the mosque, the panoramic view of the city is sure to be enjoyed.
- Meknes - Upon reaching Meknes, there will be a break for lunch before resuming the tour. The imperial city of Meknes is renowned for its walls with monumental gates from the seventeenth century, such as Berdaïne Bab and Bab Khemis. The exploration continues with visits to the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. A stop at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, once the only mosque non-Muslims could visit in Morocco, is included. The tour exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the expansive Hedim square. Across the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art “Dar Jamai” showcases a wide array of handicrafts.
- Fes - Finally, the tour returns to Fes to drop guests off at their accommodation.

Super tour! - It was a very nice tour. Great to see the ancient Volubilis and the old city of Meknes. Our tourguide Hassan also showed us some nice panaramic views on our way from Fez.

Interesting & enjoyable day out - Overall had a very good day, the tour was as described and a good value way to see the 3 sights. Hassan & Siyad were our friendly driver/translater and ensured everything ran smoothly and safely. They provided a bit of commentary & briefly showed us Moulay Idris. We had 1.5 hours at Volubilus which was just enough time for a coffee and a guided tour (not included). The restaurant we were dropped at for lunch was reasonably priced and the food was very tasty. We had paid for the option of a guided tour of Meknes which lasted 2 hours and was a good way to see the city in the time available. Rashid was an interesting and knowledgeable guide.

Volubilis and Meknes - Tour was as advertised with no sales stops on route. Transport was on time and relaxed. Adequate time at stops and informative tour in Meknes.

Fun and educational day trip from Fes - I had a great day on the road and at the sites with Disso (our driver) and Omer (our translator. They provided a comfortable environment and friendly, informative conversation throughout the day as we traveled between the stops on the itinerary. Our guide Rashid in Meknes have an equally welcoming and informative tour of Meknes. Definitely recommended!

Wonderful trip! Would hire Hassan again for my next excursion! - Hassan was an amazing driver! He is very informative too and a kind and generous individual. And our tour guide in Meknes was a treasure ! Rachid knew so much we felt like we left knowing the town and her history. Totally recommend!

Great Day Trip. - We had a very good tour with Hassan during our stay in Fes. He took us to a fantastic restaurant for lunch, I had Beef Tagine with prunes and almonds, it was the best meal we had in Morocco and one of the best meals I have ever had.
We also had a fantastic guide in Meknes, Rashid, very knowledgeable and able to converse in numerous languages. Great day out!

Great day from Fez - Great day trip thanks to Hassan our driver who was very patient , warm and genuinely attentive to our requests . The excursion was pleasant with enough time at each of the sites . We enjoyed the roman ruins at Volubilis , beautiful stop at the sacred town (Moulay idriss zerhoun) and see the mausoleum, and sightseeing the medina of Meknes. Great guides in both cities.

Perfect. - Trip to Mekness and Volubilis with Dissou in three.
Everything just perfect. We saw a lot even though it rained a lot! Dissou answered every single question and every request.
A special person we will always remember. A road trip with Dissou and a total immersion in the Moroccan landscape and culture.

Volubilis Tour - We had good tour for Volubilis Idris.Hassan our guide was fantastic,funny and quite adaptable.
I only suggest to increase more time for Volubilis as site is massive and it requires approximately 2.5-3 hours.
