Merzouga - Departure: Friday at 20:00
The adventure kicks off with a comfortable, air-conditioned bus ride from Fes, departing from the meeting point near the Barceló Hotel. Travelers will enjoy a scenic route through Morocco’s stunning landscapes, complete with onboard entertainment to set the tone for the journey. After a dinner break, the journey continues towards the Sahara Desert.

Sahara Desert Exploration & Camel Ride

Merzouga - Arrival in the early morning allows for check-in at the desert lodge.

Khamlia Gnawa Music - Morning:
At the lodge, guests prepare for an exhilarating 4x4 Safari tour through the expansive Sahara Desert. The tour includes a visit to the Moroccan-Algerian border, the Khamlia tribe, and a Dar Gnawa music performance. Visitors will also experience local desert life by visiting the Mefis mining village and nomadic tents, gaining insight into the Berber way of life.

Merzouga - Afternoon:
Return to the lodge for a delightful lunch featuring local specialties like Medfouna (Moroccan pizza). After lunch, guests can relax by the pool or enjoy a refreshing shower. The next highlight is a camel trek through the dunes, where participants ride camels into the heart of the desert to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes.

Merzouga - Evening:
Return to the lodge to unwind and savor a traditional Berber dinner. The evening is enriched with campfire stories and a live Gnaoua music performance, capturing the magic of the Sahara. This promises to be an unforgettable night!

Return Journey via Arfoud, Errachidia & Fes

Erfoud - Morning:
Rise early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, the return journey begins. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, and the drive towards Arfoud includes stops to enjoy the stunning views.

En Route:

Fossil Exhibition in Arfoud: Discover ancient fossil exhibits that showcase the region’s rich history.

Ain Ati: Pause to admire the beautiful landscapes of this hidden gem.

Camel Milk Cooperative: Visit a local cooperative to taste fresh camel milk and learn about this traditional product.

Errachidia - Lunch and Coffee Breaks:

Fes - Evening:
The drive back to Fes continues, with an expected arrival around 11:00 PM.
